Nintendo Direct announced for tomorrow, September 23rd

Get your bodies ready for some Nintendo goodness, as a Nintendo Direct is coming soon. Airing tomorrow, September 23rd will be a full 40-minute Nintendo Direct, featuring Nintendo Switch games that are planned for launch this winter season. As always, you can tune in via Nintendo's official Twitch or YouTube account, and we'll be making sure to cover the event live as it airs. The livestream will begin at 11pm UK time, or 3pm PT.

It will cover the Diablo 2 Resurrected release, delay Metroid dread, and announce Super Game Boy Commander classic controller, with Error from Zelda 2 for Smash.

Only one of my guesses will be correct.

Ignoring the many jokes, there is a fairly likely chance that a character will get revealed, which is interesting because this is the last character of the 2nd Fighters Pass.

If this is the last DLC character for Ultimate (unlikely, but still), this could very likely be Sakurai's last character before possibly stepping down as a director. Dude is overworked as shit.

Meh, I'll likely see it tomorrow, on the 24th - time zones, and all.
Hopefully there's something good in it; running quite low on worthwhile new releases, unfortunately. That's not just the Switch I'm talking about; my PS4's been sitting unused for a while too, so I'd love to have some hype for at least one console.

Hope there is a Smash announcement so all those people saying there isn't going to be anything of Smash eat shit and remain there, watching their suck ass posts. And some new game announcements would be nice, too.

they said multiple times that this is the last character pass. sakurai also mentioned that the reveal of the last character may take a bit longer, so we may not get it tomorrow

that controller is probably going to be a new ring-con, i wouldn't be that excited for it.

Game boy games coming for Switch online likely as an announcement tomorrow. Not impressed.

Lemme know when GameCube makes its way there. Also it would be nice if switch online games had a cheat selection to choose from, since a lot of 8 and 16 bit era games were notoriously tough.
