Gezine has said that smilebasic is not strictly needed, and that updating to the latest firmware to download it isn't necessary. If you're 23.0.1, don't update. If you're lower, you don't need to update. -

Hopefully. I really dislike the whole "you own nothing and be happy" mentality of the gaming corporations. Unfortunately, I suspect the lession learned by N will result in the next NS3 to be essentially a thin client relying on their servers...
