  ROFL holy shit, Avengers has a "battle pass" for every hero, $10 each. Is Square-Enix on the verge of bankruptcy or something? Jesus.

    Square has always been greedy, it's just gotten worse. I remember when people were outraged by the new Deus Ex having microtransactions before they all promptly forgot about it

    @kikongokiller Yeah I think the controversy for Deus Ex died down quickly because it turned out you could max out stats without using MTX. This seems worse by several degrees.

  Went a little ways up a mountain path tonight and was able to see 20+ fireworks displays across a few cities. Very purty. :D

  Not only was a Saints Row 3 remaster completely unnecessary on PC, it's also an EGS exclusive and apparently a total dumpster fire.

    Isn't this basically how Sonic Mania became possible? Sega took notice of skilled fans and all but hired/contracted them? Not to mention the excellent Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 mobile games - which seriously need to be released elsewhere.

    Appreciate the sentiment. Turns out I just didn't have as much time to commit to contributor work as I thought I would. No hard feelings toward any of the other staff members though, and no plans to leave the community. :)

I have a lot of hobbies, but gaming has always been my primary one. Favorite music artists are Josh Homme and Maynard Keenan, both of whom have three separate bands (though Homme is the lead in only two). Listen to the "Villians" album from Queens of the Stone Age! "Jerk-off" by Tool is the song I call Donald Trump's anthem and "The Remedy" by Puscifer is very appropriate for his remaining supporters. I also highly recommend Beck's new album, "Colors."
