Update: I testing patch for Crystal Clear today (in Citra Emulator of course) it works but.... when I go to pkmn center 2nd floor and upon try to trade or battle it said Please Wait... but it won't proceed I stuck I Think the author can't update his/her VC .patch.

Sorry for not being online to help you but I'm finally back.

I think I know how to make it work, first patch your GBC rom with the crystal-clear patch file (not cia) then do the whole process of making the custom virtual console game and then, patch it again with the VC patch install the game and see if it works.

One cuestion deos it let you choose to trade or battle?

Because if that's your case you just might need to open another window of Citra open your game, go to the Pokémon center, go to the second floor and choose what you want to do, and I think that's all.

Update: I did what you say I use another citra to open the game and connected but....... when I go pokemon center 2nd floor and choose battle (both characters) and guess what it still not proceed no matter what. and your question senior, my answer is No it won't let me choose either trade or battle and doesn't appear. I really think the author's VC.patch is not updated and/or fix.

Ok let's try this, don't patch the game with the authors patch just with the vc wireless patch then try it with two citra windows.

Could you give me your GBC rom and
sav file?

I can provide a save file but the ROM can't it's against the rules of this site senior. this sav file with the custom character trainer and pkmn inject from their site.

Thanks now I can do some tests with my 2 Nintendo 3ds's to check the wireless issues

So after doing some research, I found the authors tutorial to make the pokemon crystal game for the 3ds with working link cable included.

I read and follow this guide many times but it's not work and I don't know if it's only works for 3ds, emulator, both or not,
but still hopefully the author update and/or fix of his/her VC .Patch

Sorry for the wait I just tested it this morning and it didn't work.

Maybe you just have to get more Pokémon or advance thru the game.

Another thing that could be causing it is that my 3ds's are not connected to the internet.
