Ahead of its release next week, EA and BioWare have today aired the launch trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard which includes a mix of cinematics and gameplay:

Can we skip to the part where this flops?, it's pretty clear that nobody wanted this game and the reaction to the character creator with it being explained by a DEI diversity hire who clearly wanted thier character to "LOOK JUST LIKE ME!!!" alone killed quite a fair bit of the hype for the hardcore gamers who were sick of DEI as is.

I enjoyed Origins and thought Inquisition was solid, but after the fiasco that was Andromeda, I'm gonna treat this with some caution. Probably give it a week, read some reviews, and wait for a patch to fix the inevitable bugs that plague all AAA games at launch.
