Homebrew Games crashing on launch with Nintendo Switch CFW

Hi, I tried to play 2 different Senran Kagura games on my switch with CFW that I legally bought on the eShop and have never played before but they both crash on launch for some reason when I don’t have any mods for either of those games although one of the 2 games actually gets to the loading screen but then crashes shortly afterwards. I’ve already tried holding L on launch but it still doesn’t work. The games don’t crash on launch with official vanilla firmware so idk what the problem is as I’ve never run into something like this before. I did a bit of research and saw stuff about sigpatches on this website but apparently that’s a piracy thing from what I was told so I don’t want to have anything to do with that as I only do wifi safe stuff so I don’t get banned. I also read about SaltySD plugins possibly causing the issue but the files they mentioned didn’t appear to be on my SD card at all so there was nothing for me to delete and tbh idk why I even have SaltySD cuz idk what it is or what it does.

I don’t know how to blank out my serial number and I’m not banned cuz I can still play games online since I only do wifi safe stuff because I don’t want to get banned.

Hello i updted all the sigpatches and sys patches to the new firmware. But the games need to be updated via internet and it doesn't lauch without updated. I really need help. Theres the logo with an arrow, with the cloud and Thanks in advance!

Did you try downloading and installing the updates as well? Honestly, though, the last time I saw those "cloud and arrow" icons was when I forgot to install the base game and installed only the update.

Im installing tinfoil but it dosent launch should i install the applet mode? Cause even the cartridge games, it still have the cloud and arrow sign

If you've installed the official forwarder, it might be outdated if you're already on 19.0.x since forwarders need to be rebuilt.
You can probably use the one from this post or build one using this tool. Not sure if the applet mode would work, but running it by using title override, it should launch it in full RAM mode.

For cartridge games it could be normal to ask for a game update in order to run on the latest firmware, but I can't say for sure. Whatever game you're trying to play, you'll probably need the newer if not the latest update available as well.

EDIT: Instead of Tinfoil, I'd suggest installing games with DBI. It never failed me in the past and I've never run into an issue, while installing games at least (other than a few times when I downloaded the wrong region update for a game I already had, but that's my own mistake).

You can check this guide if you need to update your CFW (i.e. Hekate, Atmosphere, sys-patch etc.).
Firmware files you'll have to find on your own as we aren't allowed to link to them here according to the rules (quick Google search is all it takes).

The "update" I've mentioned in my previous post was about game update, not CFW setup update.

Unfortunately, I've never run into that issue. I'm usually installing via dbibackend and I guess you're probably copying install files onto your SD card? This video showcases how I install games on my Switch since the day I hacked my Switch.

So, after some days im still stuck. Im explaining. The first day my sd was corrupted and i had to format my sd. Since ,this day, every games dont launch even the réal cartridge. It has the logo with a cloud and an arrow. Tinfoil dosnt launch also. Heres a screen . Should i wait the full version of atmosphere? Im stock. I was even thinkin about downgrade. Or paying someone to help me.

I installed all the updates and the base game of lets say Pokemon Scarlet on my cfw switch. But somehow, when i launch it, my console says the game need to be updated. I dont understand, I installed atmosphere correctly i think.
Can someone help me? Im desperate.

Are you sure you didn't install the update for a version of the game from a different region? You need to match base game and its update/DLC.

I fully understand. Ihad to say i putted everything was on hand. Now its on latest update but it freezes as the menu appears. It also says some datas are missing. Is it the prod.keys?

But why does my tinfoil app shows this error? it worked perfectly before...

So, I manager tinfoil to get it work.
But the scarlet games shows me the same error. Im so lost
