This was my first attempt to add a modchip to a switch and I thought that process would be the hardest, boy was i wrong :-)

So, after finishing this I had many issues regarding the setup of the system with a CFW.

After hours of debugging it seemed that I was in luck, my device was on OFW 19.0.0 and all resources available are for 18.1.0 basically. I managed to install the newest Hekate (that is 19 HOS compatible that was released an hour ago when i was in the process) found out about the pre-release of Atmosphere, installed the correct hblauncher en app, installed and found this topic regarding the sigpatches. After a -lot- of trail-and-error I got it all working with nsp files that i'm able to install with awoo installer. But the hekate/atm/package3 route seems to be broken (?)

I used the patched fusee bin from this topic and changed my hekate_ipl accordingly, now i'm able to run nsp's, but homebrew nsp's like tinfoil do not work (for my usecase i don't need them, but i guess these will be fixed in the future).

So basically, if you are like me struggling to get your OFW 19 switch working with CFW, its possible with the resources available in this topic :-)

The reason Tinfoil is not working for some is because Tinfoil creates an nro forwarder to run it from your main menu. You can probably run Tinfoil by launching another app while pressing the right trigger to launch the hbmenu (so you don't enter applet mode), then you should be able to run Tinfoil from the hbmenu.

To fix tinfoil, just make a new NRO Forwarder for it - or use this one.

For those that insist on using Tinfoil: at least stay away from the "self installer". If you must, keep to the NRO "Applet version" and use title override instead.

OK, for noobs that can't get fusee.bin or hekate patches.ini to work. I now got Sys-patch recompiled and working, I just need to add the new patch wildcards for FW19, but I should be done later today. I am going out for a few hours to visit some family so probably I will post an updated version tonight.

I have a bunch of other stuff to do as well, so be patient. Everything will be fixed soon :-).

As I can't compile the new hacbrew with your additions, any forwarder for hbmenu???

I've udated my libnx to the 1900_support branch but sys-patch isn't working with latest AMS commit (firm 18.1.0)... Do I need another update for that?

It works fine, uninstall tinfoil and use google to find "hats switch" or "HATS-1.71-5.zip", use the tinfoil from that as it doesn't try to create it's own forwarder. Once you copy the tne tinfoil dir to the switch dir on your sd card, install the forwarder I posted and it will work fine.

Thanks for reply...

I have Tinfoil Applet Mode [18.0][v1].zip so I think that's not the problem...

I deleted the tinfoil original forwarder, do I have to keep it?

you need new tool and set flag. npdmtool.exe has a pull request for the needed change. Or you can wait for @impeeza who is coming back soon.

Well i can assure you that it works fine, I am using it just now. Nobody told you to delete anything, that's probably why you are having problems. If you mean that 16mb nro file that's in the tinfoil dir (off the top of my head) - no you don't delete that. tinfoil needs it to run.

I'll test, but I only have a spinning grey circle...

Nevermind... Have Good family Day.

Hey everyone
I was on firmware 17 and couldn't install zelda
I updated console et discovered lastest is FW19 instead of 18... released a few days ago apparently just to make all of us angry for a week

So
I got atmosphere from here
github dot com /Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/issues/2386#issuecomment-2408306021
Hekate from here
github dot com /CTCaer/hekate/releases/tag/v6.2.2
Sigpatch from here
gbatemp dot net /threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/page-197#post-10515058
and I had to get hbl.nsp from previous atmosphere folder because I did not keep my previous atmosphere folder on the sdcard which was stupid

Now previous game run
Album can open
I could install zelda from DBIbackend and run it

Thanks to all contributors to solve this so quickly

I test 19.0.0 & 1.8.0 for all day.Found some custome nsp game use dbi install can be used normally, but some cannot.
The custome nsp game is made by hacPack&hacbrewpack.
So i downgrade system to 18.1.0,they all work fine.
Does this mean that two packaged software need to be updated or wait atmosphere to fix this problem?

So just copy and paste the new folders from the 3 links you gave to the SD card and it should work

Basically yes. Just make sure your hekate.ipl.ini file contains following lines as in example page one:

fss0=atmosphere/package3
kip1patch=nosigchk

Also amend your patches.ini file with the lines provided one or two pages back. And make sure your atmosphere has the HBmenu and hbl files. If not first copy atmosphere 1.7.1 to SD card and then copy newest atmosphere which then override old one but HBmenu and hbl files will stay.

Then all should work.
