    Does anyone know if LayeredFS works with files that didn't originally exist in the rom? Or does a file of the same name need to be in the rom before it can swap them?

    As far as I've seen, LayeredFS needs the exact same directory and file structure as the original game for mods to work, which is why some games (like Pokémon) need nested folders and specifically named folders and files.

    Have you ever gotten Stargate 3DS to work? I've only just ordered one the other day, should arrive within a month, so next year.

    Mine came sealed in bubble wrap which offers very little protection against static discharge. Must be why my unit was faulty, idk.
    Came with a small container to put the cartridge in, microUSB cable for firmware updates (there were never any), and the USB to microSD card adapter.

    The microSD adapter hardware was manufactured by 'Super Top'. Never using it anyways as they're known to corrupt SD cards quite frequently. So, I opted to use my Anker to write the ROMs.

    last time i saw 'Super Top' was on some 2005-era fake chinese Beyblade ripoffs lol. I can't remember if mine came with an adapter, but it didn't come with an sd card.

    This list is probably outdated, I could do with maybe updating the wiki a bit. Gateway works with 11.17+ during my testing, so I might put that one up, or somebody else can.

    I don't think I've ever seen one in green, only the blue and red cases which were exclusive to the Pokemon games.

    yeah, blue was on japan's mario 3d land release iirc aswell. I cant even find a 3d model of the case either. Hmm.

    I wonder how I could get a 3ds flashcard inside a regular cart and hide the sd slot. Would like to 'make' a physical version of one of my projects

    I don't think its possible to find replacement cartridge shells without 3D printing one yourself.

    Or maybe make them yourself if you've got some good glossy labels and a printer.

    its not labels that im after, its the 3ds cover art inserts for the case.

    What I like to do with labels is get a glossy sheet of inkjet labels, print them on an A4 sheet, spray a protective glossy coating, trim them to size and stick them on.

    I'll never forget how good Acekard 2i's were. Absolutely phenomenal flash card for its time.

    If you're only going to use GW+EmuNAND then use an 8GB card, otherwise, if you're installing a bunch of games on SysNAND, then use a larger card.

    I was originally aiming for a September 2023 release, but I have decided to delay the v3 update a little bit.
    I really, really want to make this update as close to perfection as possible.

    It will still release this year.

    If anyone wants to help with getting into the files for Danball Senki W Chou Custom, so I can translate it, please let me know. I have access to images already, and I think I found the LBX models but can't open them. I however cannot for the life of me find where text is stored.

    I lost my best friend of 23 years at the start of the month. He passed away infront of me at home. This has to be the hardest part of my life so far, yet I can hear his voice in my head saying: 'its time for your character development arc'. like he was Prof. Oak complaining about using a bike indoors. He made comments like that often, I just wish it wasnt so soon.

    Pre-ordering was a bit nuts but I somehow got two orders lined up. Walmart went live early with a queue system that was actually extremely stable and I was able to snag one for shipping, no in-store pickup.

    Target.com went down immediately but the app was up for a little longer before going down and a couple of friends managed to snag pre-orders there, but it was $10 extra for release day shipping also with no local pickup.

    Don't give up on the Best Buy line! I waited for 35 minutes before the page automatically refreshed and asked me to re-login, I thought I was done for but after I re-logged back in it took me immediately to checkout with 10 minutes to complete the purchase.

    Best Buy local pickup is what I was going for so I'm glad it panned out. I had some rewards certificates waiting to be used and got some money back on my Best Buy credit card. Gotta get me that midnight pickup!
