ctrbootmanager should be used with menuhax which I believe is only compatible with 9.x sysnand. How are you booting into ctrbootmanager?

10.3 sysnand, not emunand. You use it as an entry point.

the gateway.3dsx crashes on my 3ds xl when i try to boot it

Crashes on my n3ds 9.0 and n3ds xl 9.2 as well but if you boot with system nand loads up fine but on my 4.5 old 3ds works fine

Currently i'm coldbooting GW directly without Ctrbootmanager, and I have a failure rate of 30%.

i have a og3DSXL on 9.8 , is there a way to get HB on it ? just want to pre-install something on it before the Downgrade files come up

i have another og3ds(small) and i have RxTools emuNAND on it , i would like to have the same on my XL.
i want opinions from lot of you ( is it safe to just use my SDcard that is on my small og on my XL og 3DS ? like well i already have autoboot set in the SD card and emuNAND with my games etc. and i assume i will have to re-insall themehax'menuhax' in order to get the autoboot back on my XL even if i have all the files in the SD yes !?)
or is it best to format my SDcard and start from scratch?

it works flawlessly for me, do you have the gw 3dsx inside your 3ds folder? and the gw 3dsx in your root sd renamed to boot.3dsx?

Not only it gives a menu to choose, but you can also specify what keys to do what so you can actually choose what to boot without seeing that menu.
For example, I have
nothing→rxTools emuNAND
L→rxTools menu (can't change that one)
Down+B→sysNAND (set up in menuhax, not ctrbootmanager)
R→Homebrew Launcher
X→Linux
Y→GW
SELECT→show the menu

i wd love to see a copy of your boot.cfg file....is it possible to share it????

as i know memchunkhax2 will let you enter 3ds safe mode by filling some junk file, force 3ds go in to recovery mode so it give us permission to access deep inside to fix it then we can downgrade the fw. So maybe gw use that to make 3ds go back to fw <9.2, not fully exploit fw 10.3. That's what i think

Glad I sold my Cubic Ninja before this came out. Does that mean Cubic Ninja is obsolete for N3DS users now that browserhax + Gateway's .3dsx file is released?
I can say the same for Zelda OoT.

Pretty much but I still keep it seeing as it can still be used in the future as an entry point for a new Kexploit if it's needed.

So piracy on fw >=9.3 with Gateway. Now how long do I have to wait for piracy WITHOUT Gateway.

IDK maybe a month or sooner it depends who can implement Memchunkhax 2 or NTRhacks faster.

I dont think its something that can be fixed if it could someone from the temp would have done it already. You could just open and close the lid takes about 2 sec

just wondering if I install menuhax, I'm unable to run gateway in emunand mode
if remove menuhax gateway work again.

sysnand is 9.2.0-20 , emunand is 9.5.0-23

anything that I miss ?
