You can already use cheat codes with Nintendont.

I meant a proper cheat engine where it freezes gameplay and comes up with an overlay so you enable / disable codes,
search / hacks for codes through value comparisons, take ram dumps etc.
Like the CL-Live debug for the PS2
because wiird is useless for WiiU or rev101 Wii.

I'm 100% sure I made alot of mistakes but I guess its good to have at least a state to come back to if everything breaks:
-made HID controllers run without the need to set any options, you can just plug in a hid controller whenever you want and it will automatically be used if a controller config is found, this will work in the nintendont loader and inside the game itself, please note that as of right now only 1 usb device at a time will be used so plugging in multiple controllers will not work
-added internal controller configs, if you dont happen to have a fitting controller ini file nintendont should automatically fallback to its internal storage
-updated the internal nintendont version to v3 because of all the recent changes
If I interprete the changes correctly, nintendont doesn't choose the right controller.ini at startup, but rather it is added to HID_controllers.h while getting compiled. Does nintendont still search for an ini file, if no matching config is found in HID_controllers.h? This could be problematic for those who didn't make their own ini public.

EDIT: OK, I see in HID.c youre still searching for a controller.ini. And youre also searching for controller.ini.ini

Yes, those should work fine, just be sure to select Gecko, although I am not sure if you should check the Encrypted box or not, try it with and without it.
I really suck at this, tried if before and got black screen, can you convert some codes and confirm if you have any of these games? I'm mostly interested in infinite health (or anything similar) for Mega Man X Command Mission.

Sorry about that. I was rounding up and the ISO is 1.35 GB. Using a Seegate Freeagent 500Gb disc. And haven't touched the settings for Memcard except for Emulation to on. Memcard Blocks 251. Memcard Multi Off. Native Control Off.

Just wanted to leave som feedback and say thank you. My HDD works perfect again from r302 and up.

I have problem, upgrade to the latest version "Nintendont Loader v3.304 (Wii) / Built: Feb 23 2015 05:32:16 / Firware: 58.25.32" and works great with games, but pressing the HOME key to return to the SYSTEM MENU, NINTENDO WII not start, LEFT IN BLACK SCREEN. NOTE: This does not happen with me version "v2.265", this was PERFECT. HELP PLEASE!!

Check this site:

Got the Code for Unlimited LE for Megaman:
9ZVV-2EG9-Y1Y1Q
ZJBK-A1HA-M6M5X
43EV-1QZ1-9BQR5
60XX-WJ2P-WXZ5E

Decrypted in GCNcrypt:
05D2DD17 08000000
0459E3D4 0000270F
0459E3D8 0000270F
0459E3DC 0000270F

And when I converted it all using AR to WiiRD, I got this:
0459E3D4 0000270F
0459E3D8 0000270F
0459E3DC 0000270F

That should be your final code that you should put in the .gct file.

Thank you, I'll try it when I get home, feel free to send me a PM with more converted codes for me to test, any and all Mega Man games =p

your using a fowarder arent you? nintendont probably changed so much usb code that the fowarder is outdated i guess.

-if no extension is plugged into your wiimote it will disconnect automatically after 20 seconds

thank you so much for this. And also for fixing the HDD issue (r301), everything works perfectly now with r305 !

SOULCRACK! Also congrats devs on getting nintendont in the state it is in now. I thank you very much for using your time to make gamecube games work on wii u, even though some of us don't deserve it. :yaywii:

Sorry if this has been answered before, but what is the "test" button?
In Triforce games aka Mario Kart GP, Virtua Strikers etc. When you press Z (I don't remember it well) enters the test menu where you can change some settings of this Triforce/Arcade Games.

TL;DR Test button is Z in Triforce Games

I thought it was going to fix all the games that still run 1.5x too fast before I read the rest of his post:lol:

I'm still praying for a fix for Sonic Riders as it's the last game in my list that isn't compatible with Nintendont (well Sonic Mega Collection also has some speed and audio issues but it's my least concern atm for I have other better replacements).

I take it Sonic Mega Collection isn't fixed?

Nope, tested it with the stable version after the usb changes out of curiosity and it's still present, audio is delayed when you play longer (mostly noticeable in games like Blue Sphere) and when you play long enough the audio starts to mess up and make noises, the audio can be temporarily synched though if you press bring up Z menu.

Edit: also sometimes games start with no audio at all, the proto version has even more audio related issues though it's unplayable (unless you mute the game).
