This is a collection of save files for Super Mario Maker. This is primarily meant to be a preservation for the Event Courses and Staff Courses, which are now inaccessible due to the shutdown of the 3DS and Wii U's servers. This collection also includes other extra save files. For each save, all courses can be played through Coursebot.

All Event, Staff, and Sample Courses
This save contains all 47 Event Courses, as well as all 32 Staff Courses (Mary O., Bowser, Undodog, etc.)
Because the 3DS and Wii U servers were shutdown, this has become the only way to play these courses.
While these were only accessible online, they could be downloaded to be played offline, allowing these to be preserved through a save file.
[UPDATE]: The limited-time event course "Bakarythm Land" has been added!
All 68 Sample Courses are unlocked, so every official courses is here!
As a bonus, the introductory tutorial course is saved as its own, unmodified course.

3DS Super Mario Challenge Port
This save is a port of the 3DS version's campaign. This includes 100 officially made courses, all ported to the Wii U version for an enhanced experience. This was ported using OCDM by saving all courses to coursebot, then converting them to Wii U format. The Challenge Medals however are not present.

All Parts Unlocked (Except Mystery Costumes)
This save has no courses, but all course parts unlocked. I don't know how mystery costumes are handled, so they are unfortunately not present here.

My Save File
This is my original save file in its final state. This contains 119 courses, spanning from 2015-2017. My brothers and I had a lot of fun with this game throughout its lifespan, so I find it reasonable to include it here.

An instructional document is provided with the download for how to import the save files. Please note that this isn't a 100% comprehensive guide, as you will need to piece some parts together yourself. If you are struggling, please research some tutorials on how to import/export Wii U saves.

Wait you forgot one event course which isn't on your save file : Super Bakarythm Land.
if you've never heard of it, that's normal, it was deleted on February 22, 2016 and it could no longer be saved after its release day (so after November 4, 2015).

Thanks a lot!

Would the opposite be possible, i.e., porting the Wii U levels (without the Secret Mushroom) to the 3DS?
I think OCDM works both ways.

Makes sense. I downloaded these in 2020 in preparation for the shutdown, but I was never aware of this one level at all. Why they delisted it back then is beyond me. And the fact that you couldn't download it either is cumbersome.

Is it possible to combine this with another save file that has all the costumes unlocked on Cemu?

The Mercedes Benz stage crashes when trying to access the mystery mushroom as it used a custom sprite you got with the level. There are a bunch like this.

You could try using this tool:
https://github.com/Tarnadas/cemu-smmdb
It doesn't unlock Amiibo costumes as it seems but you could use an Amiibo save with everyone unlocked and then inject the courses from here into it.

OK, thanks. I was able to create a save file that has everything unlocked, mystery costumes 1-100 (not 101-153), all 46 available event courses and all 32 staff courses. The issue remains with those special costumes only obtained in event courses. Any time you access one, even if you just click on that mushroom in the editor, Cemu will crash. I suppose we could just replace them with costumes from the standard 100 and we would have a save file with everything officially released minus those costumes. It would take a little while as almost all of the event courses seem to have this.

I'll need to crack out my Wii U and check, but I think I've downloaded Super Bakarhythm Land. I was a huge Game Center CX fan back in the day and I remember when he and the Kacho faced off in SMM. I'll reply if I got it downloaded.
Thanks!

I don't want to share the whole thing, I can see a whole bunch of folders with (what I assume to be) other saved courses. Ideally I'd just want to share SBL.

I've got Cemu SMMDB, but I can't extract just the course.
Well you can make a backup, delete all the other courses and share a save file with the just the one course. Someone should be able to upload that to the SMMDB site.

If uploading it to SMMDB is all that needs to be done, here you go!
Download

EDIT: Doing some reading, I didn't realise how sought-after this course was. Glad to have helped preserve this elusive level! It's 100% the original version, which apparently was only downloadable for its initial upload then got download blocked.

Wait Apple announced a flip phone? FOR ONLY 999$?! Apple, take my money! Hope the unfolded size is not bigger than the base iPhones though

Kinda sucks when most stuff are made with men hands in mind

@BigOnYa, Lol $999 for a flip-phone. Since when does anybody use a flip-phone anymore? And why at such a high price?

@_Ruri_ is that a good thing? when things are made with men hands in mind they are generally big enough for everyone to use, I wouldn't like to use something with the size of a gameboy micro
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@NinStar, Depends on what you want to use. It's definitely great that I can hold handheld consoles in a comfortable way, the DSi and Gameboy Pocket are the perfect size, never had a micro though so idk. It's a pain though on other stuff like finding a comfortable mouses, there are good mouses on the small side like the Razer Orochi v2 or the Logitech g305 and the Fantech Aria XD7 which are a bit bigger but you have to make a good deal of researches to find them, and they're not the standard anyway. The expensive, competitive mouses are all way too big for my hands so I don't really have any choice if I want to buy more premium mouses for esports or things like that
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
Damn I wrote an essay there

@NinStar, Depends on what is comfortable and right for you. For me, my hands are not the manliest in the world (haha) they're quite small. What comes to mind in terms of handhelds, the most comfortable has to be the 2DS. Not only does the corners not dig into your palms but it's probably my favourite in terms of ergonomics. The buttons are made out of a soft plastic, not too mushy to press, a huge advantage over the 3DS. Doesn't feel too bulky and it could be compared to the DS Lite.
  • D @ DemiV:
when the xbox series was launching, phil spencer or someone else there did say that targeting smaller hands improved the ergonomics of the controller for more people.
  • D @ DemiV:
that's phil, though. the guy is always targeting small hands,
    can't go within 500ft of a school.
  • _Ruri_ @ _Ruri_:
@SylverReZ, The 2ds is definitely the one people find the most comfortable lol. People with big hands love it and it looks like people with smaller hands love it too. I find holding the normal DS/3DS consoles more comfortable and I prefer their build quality. The 2DS looks smaller when you hold it because you hold onto the whole console, not just the bottom, but it's actually the right size. The problem I have with it though is that the screen is a bit too small and holding the entire console while looking at a just few small screens makes it a bit less practical imho.

@DemiV, Huh, he definitely made a good job, it's the perfect controller to hold for my hands. A bit on the heavier side though.
