An universal "patch" is impossible, but what about a ".patch" generator? It can search some patterns in the .GBC ROM and make a .patch from that. Is THAT possible, right?

You mean for wireless communications? I don't think that it will be possible. Since colors doesn't must be fixed anymore.

It's not just about the codes pattern. There are offsets and RAM addresses that differ between protocols, which makes things very different in hexidecimal between games.

Well... I think the patterns are different in each game. As @TheStoneBanana said, it wouldn't be that simple as just looking for patterns in the ROM.

The new list is updated and these ones will be out somewhere, soon! Silver (English & French) got a new Unique ID, which prevents you from the update message. All these games are now fully fixed, that means, no more palette glitches and with wireless linking patches! The B/W versions are removed for the first time. Maybe I'll add them later again back to the newest list.

Ah man thanks for changing the Title IDs Obviously fixing the colour and the trading is the big news and now it'll feel like an official VC release. You have done amazing work and made me and no doubt many others very happy.

Updated the OP to contain instructions on how to do the patch for correct color (it's really easy, actually. finding the code and documenting it was the most difficult part) and also added a new title list.

From here on out, there's STILL more to come. The Japanese and Italian releases are still coming, and I also am writing up documentation. Stay tuned and enjoy!

Not to ask you to rebuild everything just for this reason, but could you please not use "ctr-?-????" product codes?
Without Nintendo telling you how you should do things, you have 15 characters to write a much more intuitive title!
