Hi all, some updates
1.
@The_Ho I checked out that NASCAR 2000 config you created, works great, thanks!
2.
@ronniesahlberg I've been using pop-fe over the past few days and came across a few bugs. I've commited fixes for them and created a pull request in your repo, when you have the time do take a look
3.
@The_Ho @OPPAI_DAISUKI and anyone else involved in creating configs:
I've tried out the following games and they don't work at all (details are already listed in the PSX2PSP compatibility spreadsheet):
MTV Sports: Snowboarding
MTV Sports: Pure Ride
Fox Sports NHL Championship 2000
All 3 games are made by Radical Entertainment, the creators of Jackie Chan Stuntmaster which was a problematic title too, so maybe the config/fixes for that game might help? They were all released around the same time frame so it's an easy proposition that some of their code for example the FMV playback, or maybe their entire engines - are common to all of them.
Additionally, I've also tried playing these games on the PSP:
Moto Racer 2
Need for Speed: High Stakes
And they do work, but their framerates are pretty choppy. And I'm not that sensitive to low framerates ordinarily, but these are high-speed racing games and it makes them hard to play.
Now I dunno, maybe that's how they were back in the day, and the CRT TVs just smudged over this issue.
Or, maybe it's something to do with the PSP POPS emulation of these titles and a fix is possible, **wink** **wink**
All 5 of these games are among the best in their respective genres on the PS1, so it would be great if they could be running with no issues on the PSP & Vita.
