I have a 1000 with a broken headphone jack. I opened it up and found that the pins were bent in or something. If I wiggle an audio cable enough and get it in the right position then I can hear audio. I tried to bend the pins back with a pin but it did nothing, I'm not sure how to bend it back. How can I fix it - should I try to bend the pins back another way or should I replace the jack?

On some devices, the pins can be pulled out to be cleaned and/or bent back into position. It can be rather fiddly, replacing the jack is the easiest.

I do not trust them. My mom's screen was broken, so she contacted them to replace it. They replaced it but part of the LCD is dead, some areas on the digitizer doesn't work, and they put a crappy screen protector on that was full of bubbles and dirt and not even oriented correctly. I'll just have to learn how to solder or whatever, it will be good practice.

Sorry to hear that, that's a bummer...
