I actually used AI for the first time. It invented APIs that LPP-Vita didn't have, performed '>0' checks multiple times unnecessarily, and generally just made stuff up. Hope the art doesn't fade away.

And wow been awhile since I had a profile post with over 3 replies. That said, I lost the link to view all replies (limited to last 3. Had the link on an old Vita). I found the post via Search, where someone shared it, but I can't view it as it's not of the last 3 replies.
Secret of Mana (Vita): Just learned my guaranteed chest drop trick for Eggplant Man also guarantees I won't get a Watcher's ring. For a 1/16 drop, I've been at it for months. Literally hundreds of chests opened.
Lesson: Don't use SystemAppsDisabler (Vita) on anything but 3.60. It doesn't create backups but comes with copies of 3.60's apps, which don't run on 3.65. Friend couldn't re-enable Settings to add his wifi. Couldn't re-jailbreak without Wifi. Almost had to System Reset.

Restore probably wouldn't do a thing anyway. So always good to have a 'Recovery Sony Memory Card' with FW 3.65, Vitashell, etc (Won't run til Hen'd but saves a download when wifi is at a premium).

I just wanted to see if Google AI could parse Github repository sources and answer questions. Not like it could find the server prefix variables for packages in Henlo's source since they don't exist.

Ordered a new alarm clock. Same one as previously, straight from my Amazon order history. Yet now the pictures show a USB-C port and no mention of a hardware revision / replacement. Seems shopping got trickier. Caveat Emptor?

Here we have the old model W1299 and the new W1299, with USB-C port and magnetic phone charging. I like the knob. Lets me change the alarm times (and volume, brightness, etc) to snooze how I like.

Vita migration complete. Newish one (fresh from the box but had 3.74) has no OLED burnout, battery's good, and got it running 3.60. So many reboots & downgrades. Games, offline trophies, bookmarks, GBATemp toolset all copied over.
    Boo Hiss!

Powerhouse it is. It is my 'PC' after all. Still wanna get Win98 onto it. Go Windows 3.1 on my PS Classic, so maybe that's doable here. Know more about the SO Loader thing? I want an FF6 port. It's confirmed possible by Rinne's candidate list..

All I know is that you need to use soloader-boilerplate and some C knowledge to re-create the game's Java classes in C. And, of course, the game has to be up to ARMv8 (?) and there are a few other requirements, but if it is confirmed possible, no need to dig further in that regard.

Yuck Java (But I like Javascript). Limited on my compilers here, especially being unable to get Win98 runnng I did dabble a little with C++ on my PC Classic (with a keyboard). Made a password generator for Catrap (Gameboy game) to apply it.
Another question to ask: For how versatile the Vita is, is it possible for apps like Discord and such to work on there?

VitaCord was last updated 7 years ago. It isn't going to work, I'm pretty sure I saw comments about it not working for years now.

Yes, they pretty much assume that any client other than their own is a bot. Gross.
    lightwo

Regarding BetterDiscord, it is like using Discord (it's a web application) inside Firefox instead of Chromium. There's effectively no difference outside of tweaks. What Vita requires is a client made from scratch to work under such limited hardware.

I know. https://github.com/xfoxprower I made some plugins for it. They're likely broken now though. And Github isn't Vita-friendly, so I ican't even view my code or fix anything.
Considering that you view the temp under a Vita, can you see if the functionality of this site works:

    dragonmals.nekoweb.org
Made a workaround to post linebreaks in posts here. Now I can paste coherent code. Next pain point is Vitashell doesn't let you copy multiple lilnes at once (Maybe another text editor exists that does?). I follow the Whitesmith convention, so every curly bracket in a block is a line.

Notepad Vita works for multi-lilne editing. Tabs are a no-go though as they get stripped out by official text input fields. While I could force them, GBATemp still won't show them in code blocks. Could still paste & share Lua code sometime here if I feel like it at least.
Google now blocks searches from Vita. Guess they can't afford all the traffic from us. I'll have to search with Yahoo now.

Well you must be that 'one-too-many-th minus one' download of the day to get it before me, maxing out the daily quota yet again, assming Google doesn't lie. They wouldn't discriminate against Vita users and throw bogus errors, right?

Back, but these intermittent 45 minute Database Rebuilds despite starting from scratch are concerning. You'd think it were encrypting everything for ransomware or doiong a surface scan at that amount of time.

Wouldn't swapping memory cards help with that?
    XFoxPrower
    XFoxPrower
Nope. I thought I could get around it by removing all memory cards but even the internal one, nearly empty, wanted to waste all that time. The app.db is located on ur0, an internal partition, though icon layouts and appmeta are stored on the mounted storage.
Will the squad take the blame for this one? 'All the above' is on top, which makes no sense. And 'A & B only' can't be true as it contradicts 'All the above'.

Fantasy Life 3DS. I know I'm overlevelled (Lv70-ish). But taking old Expert Magician (and other) quests as a Master, boss battles still take days of in-game time. I'm Hero level in all crafts and gear's up to par too. Is this normal? Only thing I don't really do is rely on food buffs.
Reverse-engineered a Node Henkaku webserver to self host Henkaku on PS3. I even implemented UInt32LE on Vita to build a new payload string, only to find out it doesn't work past 3.60. Maybe Henlo can be modified in the same way, so not all is lost.

Hosting Henlo offline on a PS3: No problem. Making it more than a paperweight because all the dependancies (Henkaku, VitaDeploy, etc) aren't included and still require internet: Work in Progress.

Update: The bootloader can't download Henkaku without internet. However, it seems to initiate it anyway (either from the exploit or from ur0). So I'm able to launch VitaShell and VitaDeploy from official storage locations. Kernel plugins are no-go without exploit at boot. Maybe I just need to install Enso manually since I can't make VitaDeploy 'download' the update from ud0 and apply the patches.

    XFoxPrower
Update: Henlo will load Henkaku if it exists in ur0 (ex: After a FW reinstall, Henkaku is detached from bootup but ur0 isn't overwritten). On a fresh system, no Henkaku, can't launch VitaDeploy from Memory Card w/o error. So still a useless paperweight if you have no internet or the Henkaku server goes down, as there's no attempt to load the files relatively from the offline webserver that Henlo launched from.
