Having a strange issue. I've been able to successfully mod a friends Wii using the same methods, however, I recently bought my very own Wii and when I try to:

1) Install Priiloader
or
2) Run USBLoader

My Wiimote shuts off and I can no longer turn it on. Enabling a second Wiimote allows it to turn on but I can't navigate or select any options. I should mention that I have the new "Motion Plus inside" Wiimote, not sure if that makes a difference?

All homebrew apps need to be updated (recompiled) to be able to use the new wii motion plus wiimotes. The latest HBC already supports it, but now the rest of the software needs to follow suite.

i think you both meant different things with "new wiimote+"

there are basically 3 wimote versions
1. original wiimote, 2. old wiimote+, 3. new wiimote+

only nr3 is problematic

Ok, I'm using WiiSX 2.1.1 and I'm trying to get Final Fantasy 7, Disk 1 to work.
With Interpreter, the sound lags but gameplay is fine. The game freezes on the first battle however.
With Dynec, (I think it's spelled like that) the sound is perfect and the gameplay is perfect also, but as I enter the first battle, the screen goes to black and shows some weird text. Oh, and there is this annoying bleeeeeeeep sound also.
Will BIOS fix this problem?

Also: What ARE BIOS anyway? What do they do?

Google what BIOS is. Nearly all computers have them. I think it's safe to assume that you already have the BIOS file otherwise you probably would not be able to launch a game.

I'm trying to run Mario and Sonic at the london 2012 olympic games, but it would freeze on some of the events, is there any specific cIOS I should use? (On wiiflow r418, installed d2x cIOS)

what base IOS are you using? (56, 57, etc) IOS56 base should work for most games

Havent used the Wii in ages, it was hacked to hell.
Probably been several firmware updates since I last checked in, if I wanted to go back to a regular Wii.
Could I just update and it will delete all the hacks and make it vanilla again?

Uhm, look down, satan is here lol. Sure does NMM work with normal gamecube discs, just install DML with NMM and if you launch a normal GC disc DML will just enable NMM.

No its impossible to make it vanilla again. I suggest you to make a proper hack using modmii and be happy with it

Thats not true. Pune's nand building app, ohneswazenegger can make a virgin nand that you can flash onto your wii and then there will be absolutely no sign of homebrew.
