Installed install CIOS v52 into slots 249 and 250. After launching a wii game backup and exiting to wii menu, opening the Homebrew Channel causes a black screen.

Thank you.:)
Let's get one thing straight, I may be ModMii's creator and promoter... but I think the position of ModMii Fan Number One is reserved for you! Lol

CIOS v52? You mean d2x v10 beta 52? What base did you use? Should ideally be base 57 to slot 249. Please post a Syscheck

I'm pretty sure I don't. At least I can't remember installing it and I guess I would notice if I did. (is there an easy way to find out? ; )

But let's say I haven't. xD

Thank you.:)

If NO then it is not so good.:D

With the PRIILOADER you can also boot into Applications/Homebrew Channel and so on.
But most important, you can check and maybe "correct" an maybe "broken" or not correct working Forwarder/Channel.it seems someting of this Kind is not ok on your Wii that BootMii can NOT boot into Homebrew Channel.:(

But maybe an other Reason why it not boots is your SD Card for Example.
Maybe an old Homebrew Channel Version. It should be v1.1.2
Or you have an "older" BootMii Version. Please check it on the INFO Icon.It should be v1.5

But without going further than the Safety and Health Screen it is hard to tell.Maybe it is a good Idea if you have your Wii Motion Controller back.:)

Thank you.:)

Hold the reset button immediately as soon as the wii begins the boot up process

Thanks XFlak. No, I don't have Priiloader. Pressing reset makes BootMii immediately go to the system menu, or rather the Health & Safety Notice.

Also, BootMii is version 1.1 (as I said: I modded the thing eons ago). Can I update by placing something on the SD Card? I'm never quite sure, what's on the Wii NAND and what's on the SD card.

Ah,the Master is here for a Visit:

I can not acces PRIILOADER when BootMii (installed as boot2) is active.....:(

Thank you.:)

Maybe you have it installed too...

Nope, straight to the Health & Safety screen.

You can download the latest Version of the Priiloader v0.8.2 and put it on the SD Card and and run the installer from BootMii please.:)

But maybe this does not work.

Maybe you also need updated IOS60/61 or 80 before if your Wii is an lower Version then 4.x.Thats my Concern of your SD Card that I mentioned before. If you use an SDHC Card it does not work without that IOSes.
Maybe you also need an updated IOS58 before,if your Wii´s System Version is lower than 4.3x and you did not installed the latest Version of it.

You maybe should get your Wii Motion Controller back to make it the "easy" Way and go to the Homebrew Channel via the Wii´s System Menu.

- HackMii installer (with Letterbomb or Wiibrand, this depends on your Wii System Version).
- re-install/update the Homebrew Channel to 1.1.2
and
- install PRIILOADER

I think a sysCheck from your Wii is a good Idea.:)
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

And then we can see, what we have on your Wii.:)

Thank you.:)

You can launch the hackmii installer via bootmini.elf (saved to the SD card) from bootmii, hit the SD button from the bootmii main menu and browse for the mini file and select it. It will start the hackmii installer and from there u can upgrade/(re)install the HBC and bootmii

Also, if u had priiloader installed, from the bootmii boot2 menu, launch the system menu and continue holding reset and it would load if installed. Sounds like it's not installed though.

Edit: digging through your old msg's I see your main issue is that u don't currently have access to a wiimote. The above will likely need one to work.

You could update the version of bootmii saved to your sd card without a wiimote and it MAY allow u to launch the HBC from bootmii, it depends on what version of bootmii you have and what version of the HBC you have installed. The title ID for bootmii changed a few times and if you're running an older version of bootmii it won't be able to find newer versions of the HBC.

Ultimately, this would be a lot easier with a wiimote at your disposal to update your mods.

Here's bootmii v1.2 sd card files. V1.5 can only be generated by the latest hackmii installer (it's not hosted anywhere by the dev team like they've done for v1.2 via this link) http://static.hackmii.com/bootmii_sd_files.zip

Great! These actually worked! I was able to boot into the Homebrew-launcher! :D Thanks a lot!!

Now, I should be able to install the latest BootMii version with the current Hackmii-installer, right? Also, I can install Priiloader (and since I can't edit the network settings in the Homebrew-Launcher, I need to install the installers via SD-Card, right?)
