HELP ME!!

I'm on a mac and I'm having problems patching HG with patch v3.1 with DS Rom Patcher for Mac OS X. It won't let me patch?

Well Hatsu I have a similar problem but I figured out what was wrong.
Mine was I went through the steps of patching and when you hit "apply patch" it usually freezes for a sec and then it shows the new ROM, but it didn't.
Well I kept on trying, but never worked!
Until I came across that the new ROM was saved in a different folder!
It was titled "HGSS3_patched.nds" so pretty much I wouldn't expect that.
So if I were you I would check around for that file name on your mac.
Let me know if that works.
Oh and I have Vista.

well I'm not sure if it helps people using mac systems but just in case this current patch seems to be giving problems just take the patch files and copy them over to the Patch V3 folder and you won't have problems with the patch being named "HGSS3_patched.nds" when you click apply patch.. Also the patch will be created in the same folder unlike the latest patch(which created it in the folder before the one i had all the patch and the XDelta stuff)..

EDIT: Not my pic, but I get the same error...
EDIT 2: The patch needs an extention (.bat or .patch) to work with the mac patcher!

Does Anyone know what the game ID is for Soul Silver with Magnius Translation Patch with it? and thanks for patch 3.1. It work wonders with my R4-III upgrade.

preferably if you add the .patch extension, I did that since I noticed that same problem, and using Raquib&Rikin's patch (with .patch extension) I tried the same and noticed it worked since V1 until now.

I love macs, but it can be a bit awkward using one if all you know is a windows computer.

Hey, umm just wandering if anyone knows how to solve this? I got a call (I guess from Elm) after I delivered the item he told me to deliver, but then it said, the ROM Image has crashed or something, and the emulator closes, is there anyway to fix this? I heard you need a BIOS or something. :S

The text is the same as in HGSS and the original GSC in Japanese so....

It gets translated the same way.

It was translated that way in the original game, so it gets translated like that here.

Plus judging by your post, I don't think you have any right to be a grammar whore.

I love how you're trying to pin the blame of your mistakes on others. It's your hack, so YOU should be looking for the mistakes.
You're the one who decided you didn't want any help on your translation when people offered, but now you have the nerve to make demands and tell people to do YOUR work?

You look for the damn mistakes yourself. And then when someone points them out, you insult them. This is turning into such a poor job, and you're getting this big god complex over it. This is just not professional at all, and at the rate you're going and the way you're acting, this won't be finished anytime soon. You're not even at the 4th town yet
