I can't get past the part after you talk to the guy in the left side of the Goron Village. My AK2 just hangs with a black screen. Any help?

Using AKAIO 1.5 with the latest loaders.

Ok. I have an unpatched/uncracked(maybe...) rom. If I were to patch it, would it accept my save file? Or would I have to start from scratch?

UNRELATED Wtf, I downloaded the latest codes, and tried them on my LoZ ST, and they didn't work. I have AKAIO (latest, and that also means I have the Acekard2i e_e, is it the rom? Are they only for cracked/patched roms? Yes I saved them with select, and I enabled codes (incase any n00bz ask... >_>)

Playing this on emulator and everything goes fine until... After the battle with the Demon Train, I get an error message that something has happened and the program must be closed. I thought it was by chance at first, but after the second attempt, I still get the same error message after defeating the train the second time...

What's wrong with this?

Akaio (with save type "AUTO") automatically create 512kb save type; Must i force the "save type option" to create 1mb save (8M)?

(*) black screen after Goron Village when try return to ice village for buy ice; i pass the black screen with patched Zelda (patched Zelda that had problem with gypsy and microphone)

Yes you must manually set the save type to 8Mbit but if you try setting it after having created a save file as 512kb it will corrupt you save you must use the tool i provided above to convert it.

AK2.1 + Akaio 1.5 + latest loader + untouched and correct CRC Zelda Dump + Save type 8M (with old save type converted with your tool).
All seems to works well, but when I try to go in one of Ice world village =black screen.
Do you think could depends to converted save?

anybody hear about the new firmware for the cyclo which uses some kind of stealth mode to get past the antihack thing..

Yes, its because the game requires 1MB and using 512kb initially corrupts the save file, which causes problems later in the game my conversion tool doesnt and never will fixing any of those issues

@Normmatt: This may be beyond the realm of your first hand experience/knowledge, but I think if anyone will be able to answer my quetions it is you.

Would I need to use your save converter on my 512KB save for R4 / YSMenu w/ DSTT? Or is this for AK2 saves only?
I'm using the (U) version of the ROM with only 1 save and I've passed the Sand Temple just fine so far.
Also, on testing the tool, I noticed that most of the padding in the original file is FF's, but after converting, it switches to 00's at the end of the original file... would that effect anything?
