Just leaving this here.

Just go to 5:09:12 if it doesn't bring you there already.

(even though it would be pretty cool if this whole thing was real)

So kernel exploit... on dev/kiosk/demo machines.... running 5.5.1....or....?

The "hacker" (team) are there with a way to readily adjust code.... and have knowledge how to... it would have to be some one high up with MN1.....?

I just don't buy it.... it sounds too good to be true.... pure rubbish.... another troll.....

..stranger things have happened though...

Its not true. The dev kits don't even work that way. in fact trying to run the kernel exploit wouldn't even work as the OS on the dev kits is different. I can't reveal too much about how the dev kit works, but this is just somebody trolling on twitter. Nobody was dumping anything...

Hate to tell you this but the software is still fairly similar and likely suffers from flaws available in there retail counterparts. I don't even need to touch a devout to know that it is without a doubt running the same basic OS with less restrictive security and maybe a less polished guI....

Agreed. I've actually seen one of the kiosks at Nintendo World Store in NYC be put into SDK mode when a tech guy did maintenance. The exploits we know about can't be used on those consoles.j

Plus someone here has one of those demo consoles and he couldn't do any exploits on it.

But what if the hackers' uncles work at Nintendo and they got some devkits from them and then they used their 1337 xXx_MLGH4XX0R_xXx skillz on the devkits :o

Great example, but don't take it personally, I've reported your post as whoever recorded that video violated their NDA with nintendo...
Surely a PM would have sufficed, especially as the user is just backing up what you said and there is a chance the video isn't theirs?

As for the Zelda nonsense. This all stems from some a couple of tweets and an attention seeking youtube child? We shouldn't be linking to those videos and giving them exactly what they expect from doing this.

Sure...and while you are at it, could you hook me up with Superman and an Autograph? Shouldn't be too hard for a man of your caliber that came up with such a great plan.
Jeah point 3 is already complete;) the rest is easy for me;)
But no time i have to hack mariomaker first sry:)

So, It's on youtube, Go report them?

Yeah it's not my video, just google cat-Dev and hit videos.
Indeed, not our issue. If Nintendo doesn't like the video they can issue a takedown notice, but until then, we won't remove it.

I just played little of "Still Wakes The Deep" , just came to gamepass today, its alright, kinda creepy. I'm not usually a horror game fan, but it looks really good graphic wise, esp w 4k. I admit it made me jump a few times.
