you think so? i dont think nintendo would fire someone just for releasing the zelda demo a year in advance. they'd probably just have a stern talking to and a slap on the wrist. it's just a demo...
I can't tell if you are being sarcastic. They would be mega fired. Probably sued for a ton of money as well.

I think it'd be sweet to have it for datamining purposes, as well as using it for its intended demo purpose, but I'm betting the main goal here is to hack it, unlock all the content that it does have locked away and then make a pirate copy of an unfinished build of the game.

If the demo didn't contain any really secret files I don't see a Nintendo employee being fired.

>sweet for main goal for info to be found and game to be played via hacks
>upset that the main goal is to find info and play the game via hacks

Something doesn't add up here.

It doesn't matter what the file contains. It's an act of distrust and a violation of the contract. Someone that does it once will do it again, so no not a single company would keep someone like that around.

Afaik, the process is going on and the kernel exploit is being rewritten to work on CAT-I. I doubt my sources are lying, but don't take this for granted.

I heard that this happened before with Skyward Sword. How did that happen exactly? The Wii must have been locked up like the Wii U is so I don't see how anyone could have dumped the demo to Skyward Sword.

Something doesn't add up here.

Mass distribution =/= Hidden information

I never said anything about making the datamined information playable, and then released to the world in my first example.

Having worked at E3 a few years ago I can tell you unless he had been working with Nintendo, is not part of the press (Is an IT/or crew member who is in charge of setting up/taking things down) or etc that he's certainly got no chance of getting close to getting a build.

Security there was pretty strict a few years ago and with recent terror concerns I'm sure they're watching people even more then usual... eventually they start checking IDs against badges and stuff since people sell their badges after the first day... But yeah, private booth would be the only way they would've been able to get it or after hours/before e3 began when there's still some security but it's not as hardcore as when the actual show is going on.

Sure...and while you are at it, could you hook me up with Superman and an Autograph? Shouldn't be too hard for a man of your caliber that came up with such a great plan.

need to add RUMOR to topic title because this is near impossible to do unless your either on the e3 or nintendo booth staff which is preposterously doubtful. not to mention if they succeeded big N would take them down faster than kongnutz!

I just played little of "Still Wakes The Deep" , just came to gamepass today, its alright, kinda creepy. I'm not usually a horror game fan, but it looks really good graphic wise, esp w 4k. I admit it made me jump a few times.
