I like the 3D backgrounds.. but I noticed something strange in the level with this big black "hole" at the right side - when some enemies move in and out of it they become invisible. Is it intended like that?

Minor nitpick: why not make the score and hi-score fonts a lot bigger than they are? The bottom screen is kinda useless if you don't do it :/

I should ask that the boss timer be a little longer; I feel that I was only barely able to kill the first boss before the timer got to 0. I don't know what exactly happens when the timer reaches 0, but if it kills the player I only barely made it. Then again, that might just be because I died so often and my weapons weren't all that strong..

When the boss timer runs out, you don't get extra score so you have to kill the bosses in the allotted time.
