is it not just a new version of hwfly?Has anyone tried this chip?
Has anyone tried this chip?
Probably just a redesigned PCB.
Question is: can it run community hwfly-nx FW?
It says don't mix with HWFLY firmware
Thks, just read the description.
Though I prefer to stick with something that I can flash with code from github
Installation is more or less the same.Wow. This is like $64. I spent $120 on my HWFLY. Twice. And 2 OLED Switches. Because I jacked up my first attempt (the chip AND the Switch). This looks so much easier. Then again, I know what I'm doing now.
I absolutely recognise those there fingernails in the video
guy did a schoolboy error and showed a clear reflection of his face.
Careful with some of those "3rd party" (not blue/red "official hwfly") sellers, I got a V4 that works only with their FW, if I flash it with hwfly-nx, whatever version, I get a blinking green light and a black screen after training.Installation is more or less the same.
And you can get a hwfly for about 60€ now on ali.
Can we get some of our GBAtemp magicians to inspect if there're differences in between these FWs?
Good to know, the white chip probably has the same problem.Careful with some of those "3rd party" (not blue/red "official hwfly") sellers, I got a V4 that works only with their FW, if I flash it with hwfly-nx, whatever version, I get a blinking green light and a black screen after training.
Got it from this store: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNBJHqK
