Version 1.0 Public

Nud is a format used by namco for models
In this case the Wii U version of sm4sh has nud files.

*You will need 3DS Max*

Use-

Model Import

Run SSB4_NDP3_FOR_INJECT script
Click the import button
Open Nud File


Exporting Edited Verts

Run VertExport script
Give location to save vert.csv


Vert Inject

nudVertex.py Vert.csv model.nud

Use-
Extracting Atributes
Copy model into folder
Drag model.nud onto extract.bat
A out.csv will come (If its 0kb thats not good)
Editing Atribues
Use your favorate text editor to edit values inside the out.csv
To find the item to edit use 3d editor and file the poly number and search for it
Done.... Well save silly
Atribute Inject
Drag model.nud onto inject.bat

Oh and _2 files are the web color verstion or 1.0 floats are now 255

*You need python 27*

1) No idea
2) Both Smash and Pokken use Namco formats, so it's probably Namco Universal Data(?)
3) Just Smash for now as far as I know, we can't decrypt/re-encrypt Pokken's files without a memdump with it loaded, so it's kinda hard to test anything out, I'm not sure what other games if any

Good luck with vertex edits everyone. We'll try to have full model importing finished as soon as we can, so we'll have less limits.
Awesome. Sounds like there's finally some progress. Not related to the thread but have you come close to figuring out how to add more music titles soneek?

Just have python run the script like that and it should be good. This was made with Python 27 in mind

Okay got it working. It was exported vert.csv that wasn't good. Im pretty much a noob at things. I want to create an ash greninja with a shuriken on it's back like the captain america mod. How was that done since you can't add models?

Captain Falcons belt has a little buckle on it which is the shape of a Circle. He moved it to his back and made it much larger.

I'm having this same problem. When I go to inject it says.
polys[curPoly-1].vertexCoords.append(verts)
IndexError: list index out of range

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version?
