I asked this in the noob thread:

Do you happen to know in what state the O3DS would be after performing the system transfer and restoring NAND on it? Is it the same as before just NNIDless? Would I be able to create a new NNID on the O3DS?

The O3DS will be a little confused because it thinks it's got an NNID but the servers disagree. You'll get a lot of errors when you try to use online services. There is a way to remove an NNID without removing the data I believe, so you'd want to search for that (I'm not sure on the details).

Anyone here know the answer?

Just a heads up, there is an error in the guide on the Japanese N3DS section. The Homebrew Launcher(No Browser) was placed in both fields from 9.0.0 to 10.7.0 instead of just the left. It threw me for a loop yesterday since I was sure browserhax was possible at first but the guide had it otherwise.

Not an error; 10.7.0 browser check bypass doesn't work on JPN for some reason.

I mean the bypass that drops conntest connections from the router. It's only needed for >=10.7.0.
Yes I know that but from my understanding that segment of the guide links to secondary exploits for all firmware versions between 9.0.0 and 10.7.0 and only refers the user to browserhax when they're on 8.1.0. This confused me because it worked just fine for 9.4.0-21J.

I am here: https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(old)

I am using an O3DS that was A9LH'd quite awhile ago to install A9LH on a 11.0 N3DS and it seems your guide has changed quite a bit. I am on step 7 of section 1 (after creating min sized NAND backup). This did not create a NANDmin.bin.sha file and my files9 folder is empty (the NANDmin.bin was created on the root of the SD card). Should I proceed? Going forward, I'm guessing Decrypt9 is pretty much the same thing as Hourglass also?

I do have OoThax, so it looks like I get to skip a bunch of stuff though ;)

I just did a system transfer from O3DS to N3DS and was never prompted to transfer Zelda: Four Swords. It still shows up on the O3DS.. Is there a way to move it still or should I/can I still use Sudoku on the target?

I have already gone through the troubleshooting outlined here:

https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting#a...are-downgrade-my-hacked-dsiware-does-not-work

I can successfully move it on the O3DS (source) to the SD card, but when I try to move it from SD card to system memory on the N3DS (target) I keep getting "Data could not be copied".

EDIT: I solved all my issues going the Sudoku route.

After restoring your NAND backup on the source, it seems to have problems with it's NNID that was moved. You can easily unlink your NNID on the source (helpful if your source is an O3DS) by holding X and Y while tapping OK/A button on that error screen. I don't really see it in your guide anywhere, but I've seen it somewhere. You can then setup a new NNID on the source if you like.
