BTW I'm making an Android app to look at cards straight from the ar database online...it already works fine.. just need tuning..

It's a little hard to glue the final one because the box is closed so used a ruler from the opening...the size is fine...printed image width is about 7.0"
it's the same size as a regular cards deck..(though the ar cards are smaller).

Nintendo officially states they Deny all kind of requests, just because they receive hundreds of them everyday.
They also say, they may allow use of they property without asking for permission.
I'd say, just go for it (there is already an AR Card app for android anyways) since you got the database ready.

You printed it already, looks functional.
Does it hold the cards properly?
Is the size alright?
Is it easy ennough to open and close?
Are the texts readable?
Does it look good (cant tell by the photo)?
Do you like it?
Would you like to see something different?

I have only found official artwork for Viridi, not Phosphora. I will do that version when official artwork is found Probably soon, Viridi's artwork was uploaded 2 days ago.

the ui is nice but they have only 3 cards and these are the promo cards...(I replaced the ones in that app with the ones in the db... lol)

Too small/low res. Would not look good.

but lets just try to be patient im sure official artwork is on its way.

I miswrote.. I ment I changed the ones in the database (promo section) because the ones from the android app were better..
not hacking...just taking screenshots using the android's sdk capture thingy from eclipse...

Alright, tested, works fine, its usable and the text list makes the app easy to use (maybe the text is a bit small, or my screen has a higher resolution).
The only thing I would like is for the downloaded cards to stay stored in your android's memory
so you dont have to download them again. And a big "Download all" button (showing total size of course).

I cant see card 001 (Pit) anywhere. It shows 16 cards on the list at once on my screen.

Why not make a "To-Do" List?

To-do List:
- Download all button
- Arrange by: Type, Number, Alphabet, etc.
- Add some colour and graphics, maybe icons for card types and regions.
- Battle Mode (?)

Something along those lines.

Or an invisible hot-spot (instead of showing the buttons and eating part of the screen with them).
While I agree that it needs MB's of space, I think thats the user's decision wether to use the option or not.
Most phones now come with free GB's of space so im thinking it should not be an issue.

The method of the prev & next are not an issue.. I can implement all of the options...
I will try to come up with a solution for caching..I would want caching myself because I don't have 3G-Internet. I use WiFi where ever I go...
About the design...You are welcome to send me a draft of how would you like it to look...currently I'm not working on the look&feel only on the logic...
Maybe we could make it skinnable... but that's too much for just a simple app.. lol
I know you have elite skills so I trust you will wow us...

Usage:

At first the list of the cards are loaded.
You can click on a card entry.

Now with Caching
The list and the images are saved inside /mnt/sdcard/KidIcarusArCards directory...make sure you have an external storage...
Now you can use the app offline with files you already seen...
The list is downloaded everytime

Changes:
v3
+ tablet friendly (takes all width)
+ doesn't redownload on rotation of the device (change of orientation)
+ changed the fonts a little bit...
v2
+ small changes to gui (flags, header)
+ caching (offline browsing), you can delete the cache by deleting the KidIcarusArCards folder on yout sd-card

ToDo List:
- Filters
- Previous & Next buttons inside the card preview...(same region or available one)
- Option inside a card preview to update it's picture (because of the caching)
- Download all.. (be aware the database is ~60MB)
