Well, 5 pages into this a friendly man named elisher kinda highjacked this project and made it into a site, instead of being butthurt at my lack of insight into doing this before this topic im just gonna list the site up here.

I still think its a grand project and hopefully this can succeed and become a commonly used resource.

Hmm, this is a delicate subject. Nintendo has free downloads of the AR cards that they include with the 3DS, but I don't know what the situation is with Kid Icarus AR cards.

I've brought it up for discussion with the staff.

I'm not sure, but are they not going to sell packs of these card at retail? If they are then this is most definitely not going to be allowed.

Yeah I know, I'm going to re-scan them when I get a chance this weekend, this is more a placeholder for now, also it may be Copyrighted content but
A. Nintendo hasn't planned to actually sell them anyway
B. If.you haven't noticed these forums are full of copywriten images and logos, and nobody has gotten sued yet so what does posting some Free cards matter?

Well, when you look at the big sheet Sakurai uploaded himself, it looks like the stained glass motif has been grayed out.

Besides, Nintendo sells these cards via some cakes in Japan, and I think they're gonna trade them with Star points in Europe.

1. Doesn't matter, you buy the game you get them, I just got a few early and thought to share.
2. They have announced that they wont be selling them at retail. I have askef ACTUAL Nintendo Employees in person and they have told me they will not be retail. Only give aways and hand outs at events.

Dude I'm not trying to be a dick too you personally so don't think that. I'm just looking out for the site as a whole. I do like the idea of this tho.

Also just because some Nintendo employees say they are not going to sell them at retail don't mean it's true. Many companies don't share all their plans with their employees and it is also possible that they were talking out their asses.

I don't think your being a dick man, I understand the concern and I will admit I'm not 100% but I asure you I looked in to this before posting and others are doing it and ACTIVELY SPREADING IT, if it would make the mods and everyone feel better I will Email Nintendo on this matter.

it is brilliant for sharing and discussing what if i print the card as big as my wall

btw about the card size, if scanned maybe scan it it high resolution but only show the low-resolution?
just make the high resolution as link, not embed image

it will be good for printing very big AR cards

For what it's worth, I'm actually for the uploading of these images. I just don't think it's fair of Nintendo to deprive people of the full experience of the game by making some cards exclusive and unattainable for most people. But we'll just have to see what decision is reached by the staff as a whole. For now the topic will stay up.
