C.A.R.Database
I like it, but the .com, .org are already registered.

Well, we could go with full words insteads of acronyms ? Can't think of anything for C ...
How about AR Library or CardTemp? But overall I don't really think this calls for a WHOLE SITE plus that would mean MASS DISTRIBUTION. Having this a little topic is one thing but as a whole site is much more risky

Did I just inspire something really big here?

if you wanted to rescan your cards that are abit chopped off
or you could re do all of them

would be grand

then there wont be any ??? numbered ones :D
I will when I get a chance but I got a project to finish up tonight and just getting them how they are now took a good 20 min each.

The website would have different purposes:
- make a database for ALL Augmented Reality cards (not only 3DS, not only Kid Icarus)
- Not linked to GBAtemp (don't call it "xxxxtemp", find a better suited name for future global use. could have partnerships though)
- preventing any forum's copyright problem (not only gbatemp) by not having users posting them directly on a forum. (for sold cards at least. there's none currently)
- A single place to remember and contribute (like gametdb), instead of multiple incomplete place/website/topics.
- maybe other

yes, because you think you can post and maintain 400+ picture in a first post?
- The number of pictures you can post is limited.
- It would be really hard to read and scroll. no?

The idea is good, but not easily done on a forum I think.

I'm looking at arkive.co. The domains are a little more expensive, but it's short and probably easy to remember. I've never been good at thinking up names for stuff, tbh.

Yea, but I was going to move it to a flickr or downloadable ZIP when it got bigger, plus not every contribution was going into the first post.
And use a webhosting service, no point in buying a whole domain for something that will only host some pictures. Also now that I think about it... as a picture is clear enough to see the actual color code and the card itself its ok, just get high rez pictures, 4 or 5 MP minimum should be good.
