You're just seeing things, there's no such thing as reporters.

The film plays with the idea of the absurd. That is humans searching for meaning in a world that is devoid of it. The fact that ultimately the film is so meaningless actually makes it a microcosm of existence itself.

Marill is a Pikaclone? I never got that vibe from it.

When I was a kid, we called it "Pikablu" I think Marill is a subjective one, but its sometimes included in the pikaclone list. (And it helps round out your electric heavy team lol)

To be honest, MOST Yakuza games have great stories, part of why it's an amazing series:P Only stories that were "meh" were 1, 3, 4, then all the others are top notch, even Black Panther was beautiful story-wise!

This one is my first.

Try 6 afterwards, they literally use the same map, so it will feel familiar but with different story and some other changes in stuff you can do (slightly changed stores/arcades/etc.). After that you might as well go for any of 2-4, they are all pretty good although 2 was still fairly clunky despite being REALLY fun (I started the series with 2 btw). If you want something shorter, try Black Panther.

I just saw someone over on I think Nintendo Life who's name was the name of a Game Boy game. His avatar was just a box shot and I really liked it myself. So I copied him. I had a feeling there was a Spiderman game on the Game Boy. I was in luck.
