1080p and 720p look fine on a 4K screen FYI.

Thanks, seems cheap enough to get an RGB SCART cable and then convert to HDMI. There are converters around $40, so that's a lot more reasonable than the Framemeister's $400 lol.
problem is your not getting 720p or 1080p your getting like 240p uspcalled very badly to 720p or whatever its totaly diferent story...

Again, it's fine with 16-bit. Upscaling just makes the pixels bigger in this case. The bigger issue seemingly would've been color smearing from the composite signal, but I'm gonna go with RGB instead.

Putting some serious thought into the Super NT... I've got an original SNES, but can't be assed to pay for a framemeister and I've got shitty controllers.

I thought Hyperkin was great until I found out how they're pumping their shit out like it's nothing.

If you're looking for a much cheaper alternative to Framemeister, this SCART upscaler seems to work well:

problem is that pixels become so big and without information the pixels around it become the same color to keep the display and you will get a muddy picture wich looks way worse than 16bit on old tvs.

I'll let you know how it looks when I get it, people seem very positive about the results of using RGB input on newer displays.

Hooray, another half-assed stand alone emulator for those who too stupid to configure it themselves on any other hardware.
Snes classic mini? Nes classic mini? Nintendo people can waste money on them, so are they too stupid to configure their own on another hardware?

Maybe they don't have "another hardware" beyond maybe a cell phone, which I would hardly consider adequate for emulation. Capable, but not practical. Plus it's licensed, which makes it a pretty big step up from downloading ROMs illegally.

@KiiWii Regarding N64 emulation there was never a definitive solution as far as I know.
Always different plugins for different kinds of games and even compatibility problems with official N64 emulators, hopefully one will be able to play Conker's Bad Fur Day heist with four players on the N64 mini then it will be perfect.
They could always just clone and shrink the original hardware, then read from SD slot instead of cartridge.

For 70 dollars which is around 56euro I think I could get a try, it even has 8ft 2,5mt. cable, does it also support "roms" or just cartridges?

It supports ROMS :D
IF you use a SNES flashcard ;)

Hmmz, I still have all my SNES backup devices (Bung doctor 6 and 7 / Pro fighter X and Double Pro fighter X and a Multi Game Hunter), if it doesn't fit, then there's no use for it to buy :D and i will messing around with my old setup ;)

No, definitely not an expert Johnny. What's bothering me? I mean, what's the difference between this and the Analogue Super Nt? Since the NES Classic, my interest in those kind of retro emulation consoles came to be, but now I feel like the market is oversaturated. I don't know what I should get.
