For ak2i, you have to make sure that you can use the ysmenu.

or you may use tool TTDT to edit this dat file and see the code, and use 16bits editor like XVI32 to fix the ROM according to the code.
and this dat file should rename to "extinfo.dat" and replace the same file.

yeah is fixed on get green apple but on level 4 in UFO stage is will freeze if you will get 100 fruit o.oa i don't know is cause, my microSD is fine not have any problem or issue.... (level 4 stage 10)
in level 4 stage 6 is seem no have any door? so i quit that stage ... (is not freeze)
in level 4 stage 5 is seem can't quit on ghost gate (Big purple key) ... after beat boss in here ... (is not freeze)

it comes up with white screen on ds2 when I have it on clean, I'll have to try it on patch for some reason it doesn't work, when I used the patch
jmleolgq, thank you is was fixed many my problem, now on level 4 stage 6 now was shown a door (before: is not shown any door), thank you...
@ChrisMCNBVA : patch is not work now since is have a ton AP, is started on first (white screen), level 3 (stage 7 i think) until last level .... with many freeze, not shown a door so is can't continued, after beat boss is will not back on stage (is still on boss battle), green apple will freeze, ect so is AP. Be patient with waiting a new patch (until was discover all AP).

Am I correct in assuming that I can't just copy the extinfo.dat file into the root of my SD card? I assume that I have to set up Ysmenu in order for this fix to work, am I correct? If so, then I'll just wait for Wood to update it, or wait for an AP patch for the game itself. If not, please let me know how I can get this to work with Wood. R4, btw.

You can try this Ysmenu.
DSOnei user said it worked. It means that DSONEi can use the YSmenu to run kirby.

i don't know is AP or not, i was trying collect all coin in every level, but i just stuck some stage, i was search in all area in that stage but i can't find 1 coin... i was search in any object but is seem hidden by AP... before new extralib i was get a 7 title on level 4 stage 10, after i replace with new extralib i just found 8 only, 1 is seem i can't get it (i remember is on old extralib is show that but in new one is hidden --" is seem have another AP is hidden coin or door.... in some stage area ...

I have an R4-SDHC.
I didn't see an extinfo.dat anywhere in the R4iMenu folder, so I guess the R4 fix won't work? :/

@iHavez: If is no have any TTMenu folder, you can't used extinfo.dat
try use http://gbatemp.net/t267243-retrogamefan-updates-releases, and replace extinfo.dat with extrainfo.dat in this thread.
