No, it was a loader error, a fix has been released on the Akaio site, works perfectly now.

Now, it works great on Ak2i

I had the same white screen problems on my ak2i with the latest AKAIO 1.8.8 after many attemps I figured out my mistake and made it work, I deleted the other loader in the "loaders folder" and simply kept one loader in there which is the fixed loader for the game on the AK2i. It seems the old loader which came with the AKAIO 1.8.8 kept loading the game I believe it has one for AK (which kept loading on mine) and one for AK2i thus didn't make it work. I just left the AK2i loader (new fixed one) in there (loader folder) and KABOOM! it works perfectly! I dunno it might work for you guys with the 2i who are having problems, or if it's not that it could had been I switched sd cards also. doesn't hurt to try.

So I just got the new AKAIO 1.8.8 loader mentioned above. Just starting the game now, and the first stage's door does not work. Kirby pushes the switch, and goes into the open door, but the game stays in that room and doesn't enter the stage. It's not freezing, the animation of the door is still working.

Turn on Bypass Anti-Piracy...it works for me
