Every time I put my switch to sleep (playing with Psnes), when I return to continue my game, this works slooowly.

It's normal?

And another question: could be possible to add a fastforward option?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

EDIT

Ok, I see the sleep issue it's normal, sorry about that.

Looking for help regarding 4 players please, I've enabled single joycons in the menu, they all act as single joycons but when I load a 4 player game such as bomber man the option for players 3 and 4 is either COM or OFF.

Heavy shaders and filters? HQ4x, 4xBRZ, ...

I love that filters i prefer that than the blurry bilinear filter, off course always is better to play the classics on a CRT TV, but with Switch we have to stick to LCD panels.

Finally got a chance to try this out no roms are loading for me (I’ve tried handheld and docked mode). Files are zipped and USA format which I’m sure they should be. Any ideas what could be wrong ?

first of all many thanks for this great emulator. A fast forward function and a jpeg support for the preview pictures would be great .
which I absolutely don't understand is what the database is supposed to do ??I have really well sorted no intro sfc and they are only shown to me as clones. No name, no manufacturer ..In my opinion a completely useless function. Would be much better one could insert this info manually

Would it be possible to bundle a single game and the emulator together into a nsp in such a way that you don't even notice the emulator since the game gets started directly?

Here it is, pSNES with OpenGL (and shaders) support : https://github.com/Cpasjuste/psnes/releases

  • use OpenGL for rendering, which allow some nicer ui effects (thanks armada, fincs, subv... for theire work on mesa/nouveau)
  • point filtering can now be used in any rendering size
  • add a few libretro shaders (retro-v2, scanlines, pixellate, crt easymode, crt geom, sharp bilinear, sharp bilinear scanlines, sabr v3, xbrz, supereagle). Note that some shader will work better in integer scaling (2x, 3x), and some will have a better effect with linear filtering (sharp bilinear). Also, some are very intensive (crt geom, sabr, xbrz) and may not work fullspeed in some emulators (pSNES).

There is maybe some new bugs added, we'll see !
