alguien sabe editar el archivo config que hay en skins? porque las skins que tengo solo funcionan en psnes 4.4 pero ahora ya esta la version 6.3 y cuando pongo la skin extraida en una carpeta llamada default se puede apreciar bien la skin en el emulador pero cuando abro el menu del emulador, lo abre pero se va fuera de la pantalla

Can anyone tell me how to use the turbo_mode (to fast forward the game), tried a lot of combinations but can't figure it out.

I just installed this yesterday, and I have a few questions that I can't figure out on my own. Note, I've only tried / played Chrono Trigger last night:
1) Can you save / Load within the game itself? or do I have to use save states?
2) I can't get cheats to work. I used the recommended format, and set the file-name to <romname>.cht, but they don't seem to work at all. I've tried multiple configurations, different schemas. Hell, I even copied the cheat folder into different locations just to see. I have verified that cheats are activated within psnes, but for the life of me I can't get cheats to work.

Did you ever figure this out for cheats? I'm in the same boat, i have all the cheat.cht files from my wii snesgx emulator, was hoping to just transfer them over but nothing works. Do they have to be zipped?

You have to put your file of games into the <roms> folder. It does not come preloaded with games.

Ok try this, this is what I had to do to make it work sometimes.... delete the psnes from your switch folder. Make a new called psnes and only put the .nro in it. Launch your switch and open psnes app, let it load. Then go back and add the roms to the roms .

Hi, I tried to import my .srm file from snes9x on PC to Psnes on my switch but no save is being found. Does it need converting to a different format?

Edit - Got it working by using Retroarch rather than Psnes. Transferred save files from PC to Switch. No conversion needed and worked excellent. Hope this helps someone down the line.

Despues de mucho tiempo me decidi a modificar un poco el archivo.cfg de la skin default y dejenme decirles que me quedo muy bien los menus ya estan centrados me tomo casi un dia de prueba y error y cambie los colores de algunas cosas pero me gusto como quedo ojo es la version 6.6 de psnes lo malo es que con las constantes actualizaciones de la switch ha hecho que el emulador tenga glitches y errores graficos como el arctraiser 1 y 2 dejo una foto del 2 donde no se puede ver las opciones del menu principal

Its only for the current versions. (dev changed the skin settings some time ago)


I have actually also a question, maybe someone knows.
I cant seem to make any of the Turbo or Speed Up functions work.
Any tips how to config that? Or doest speedup/fast forward just not work as in other emus?

Version 6.7 has been released, good update but might be a small issue where emu crashes if you exit emu, the re-launch emu without restarting hbmenu.
