Hey guys,

So I thought I might as well go ahead and show some footage of my early Unity for Wii U work since I think the Wii U hacking scene is starting to become a bit too gloomy and slowly fading away.

Basically, you play as Stick Magician, a 3D stick man that can control the art of the elements (mostly fire and water) and can also control time (Those are yet to be implemented; I have already set up a basic fireball-throwing action using the R Button, that you can see in the video).

It might only just be him and a massive piece of terrain, but it's actually quite fun to play around with at the moment! :P

Also, you might not see it, but the GamePad screen and audio is also the same on the TV screen/speakers. ;)

Finally, WiiMote and Nunchuck support also is being looked into, as well as Wii U Pro Controller support. That way, there could also be stuff like co-op gameplay in-game too! ^_^

Please feel free to leave any feedback you have about this preview. I am also open to any improvements and additions you would like too see in the game. :yayu:

P.S. - This will most-likely be released on that ISO site when it's done, since it is SDK brew. Also, with this being something only Loadiine can load (because of the fact it is a proper game with code/content/meta folders) it will only be playable on 5.4.0 and under consoles, or for anyone with private access to the 5.5 kexploit.

Damn, this seems a lot smoother compared to the test version I got a while ago xD
Definitely! :D

It's because I forgot to tick "pre-bake collision meshes", which makes the game run A LOT smoother!

i think the stick magician has the body a bit too tall
I have always thought to myself that he is a bit too lanky. >.>

That'll probably get taken care of too. Thanks for the tip! ;)

I can, but I would need some kind of level designer. I'm shit with Blender.
I usually use Google Sketchup and, very rarely, 3DS Max to make my (more simple) level designs. Although I do tend to use Unity itself for stuff like islands in the middle of the ocean. ;)
