ROM Hack [Release] AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher + GBA ROM Converter

Was able to Install to the SD, but it would not start. Was using a SSF2T GBA Game. Tried running on SysNAND, not EmuNAND

And you correctly installed the patched agb on sysNAND ?
Something like : "AGB_FIRM-Patched-0004013800000202.cia", destination NAND with FBI ?
Try to install the patched agb with devmenu, it's better than FBI for this and try with another gba game too.

I did exactly as it is described. Download 0004013820000202 V4816 with 3DSNUS. Use New3DS_AGB_Firm_v4816_SignPatch to Patch it. Install to NAND on GWSysNAND. Then attempt to Install and run a GBA as .cia . All correct? I understand that some Games will not work. Got it from another Site. Did not use the Converter in this Post

All is correct but GBA games don't work on gateway mode, any others CFW modes work.

No, the problem is the gateway itself. Try with a cfw like cakesFW. How do you launch your gateway mode ?

Install menuhax or use the homebrews launcher loader (better for you if you don't want to change your habits) !!!! You need to access homebrews, it will be very helpfull for you !

Pokemon Glazed 7B (ive tried making one and every time i boot it [Installed on Both NANDS, using pasta] i get a white screen)

For all standard gba pokemon games (R,S,E,FR,LG) you need to patch your gba rom like this : https://gbatemp.net/threads/fixes-for-all-gba-pokemons-save-issue-with-agb_firm.390508/

Then use these footers and convert it to cia (take pkmn emerald footer if you need real time clock).

Hey, I managed to get this working just fine, however now if I have certain VC games such as Mother 1+2 or Warioware Twisted, it'll pop up down the bottom of the top screen saying "Software notification - Connect to the internet and touch Open to start updating.", I'm at a crossroads here, will it be updating the game or will it be updating the emuNAND I'm using? Is it safe to update?

If it's a custom VC and it's saying there is an update, then you've used the title id of another game that has updates. It'll fail if you try to update most likely. You should redo them with a unique game id

Hello,

I just want to report a problem I had yesterday.

Most of the games I was trying to play would have the top screen cropped.

Apparently it even happens with ambassador games:

I tried the trick and yes... switching from 128GB to 16GB worked with the game I was trying. This is really weird cause I have still some games working.

Im gonna try installing them first before anything else, see if it changes anything, but its really weird.

So im trying to make gba games in cia format, and it works for the most part. It successfully runs, but i cant get the game to save. When i generate the footer, sure the gbatool advance gives me some info on the game, but i still dont know the memory config, or whether eeprom v122 applies to save type, save chip manufacturer, or both. If anyone wants to help test this out specifically im testing this with super monkeyball jr, one of the most underrated gba games.

Here's my current situation...
modified AGB_FIRM installed on sysnand using minipasta and on emunand (a9hl) but when I attempt to run a gba vc (modified) i just get the 'hold the power button' error screen.

Any help?
