Yeah, the post was basically proven false. Nobody else was able to replicate it and he was using a 3DS with CFW for the video.it depends on your homeberw entry point. i believe you can reinstall hbc from scratchhere is the info on this HANS Bypasses The New AP Check For Sky3DS Users

im sorry before i went to sleep it was looking like a good prospect
It's possible that new games will run on a CFW O3DS, but won't run on a CFW N3DS if a new SDK for the 3DS is released. Even if a new SDK is released a workaround may be possible, but it's hard to say unless/until this actually happens. Thanks BobDoleOwndU.
Regarding the N3DS emunand 9.5 maximum, although cryptofixed games are about, do you think there will come a point when newer games just won't be able to be run on N3DS, but will on O3DS? I wouldn't want to replace my O3DS with a N3DS and find I've hit a deadend.
Reading around it seems the Retroarch emulator might run better on N3DS, so that's one advantage.
I don't use 3D so I'm not bothered by the better 3D on the N3DS. The extra C-stick might be useful for, e.g., Majora's Mask, and I'd rather not use a Circle Pad Pro.
I know someone selling a N3DS XL which he uses with Sky3DS. Does that mean it must be 9.2 or below?
The N3DS is likely above 9.2 if Sky3DS is being used on it. Sky3DS functions on all firmwares, it just can't run games that have the new anti-piracy checks.
