I have a question regarding THPS 1. how can i play the 2 player mode on the Wii U? , I have the gamepad and a a Wii U pro controller, i can play 1 player game with any of them ,but on 2 player mode the pro controller moves both players at the same time and the gamepad does nothing, i change the settings from automatic to manual, and i lose gamepad support. Using wiisxrx v4.0 but Is the same on 3.3

Reliving a dead thread.

@niuus
What piece of code did you modify for disable Dithering by default?
Because i'm interested in making a build of WiiSX RX/WiiStation with Dithering enabled by default, which is required for play correctly Silent Hill.

And value i have to modify in code for re-enable Dithering by default?
Thanks ;)

I have always liked the Ps1 and I still love my Wii U, so this project is in one word AMAZING.
Though, I do have a question: I have some old savefiles from my original Ps1, which I have on my computer and converted with Memrex. I have put them in the "saves" map, but they are not recognized in any game that I start. Does anyone have an idea how to get this working?

You have to rename the savefiles according to the CD-ROM ID number without any dashes (ex. SLUS99999).

For example: if for Rayman (USA), the CD-ROM ID is SLUS-00005, so you need to rename the savefile for Rayman (USA) as SLUS00005.mcd

You can find the CD-ROM ID numbers at PSXDataCenter in Game Lists section: https://psxdatacenter.com/sitenews.html

Thank you, I did manage to get this working. You're my hero for today B-)

Tested some of the multitap games in WiiSXRX DS 3.3 on the Wii U , here are the results:

Games that work:
- Crash Team Racing (EUR)
- Adidas Power Soccer 2 (EUR)
- Adidas Power Soccer 98 (USA)
- Team Buddies (EUR) (game crashes after playing a game though, but good playabale)
- Sled Storm (USA)
- Street Racer (USA)
- Sydney 2000 (USA)
- Crash Bash (USA) - with flickering characters (not that good playable)

Games that don't work:
- Fifa 99 (EUR) (no controls at all with multitap)
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2 (EUR) (Can't get player 2 to work, 1, 3 and 4 work fine)
- International Track & Field (USA) (does not work, keeps going to the menu)
- International Track & Field 2 (EUR) (Can't get player 2 to work, 1, 3 and 4 work fine)
- ISS Pro Evolution (EUR) (Can't get player 2 to work, 1, 3 and 4 work fine)
- NHL 2000 (USA) (crashes at the start, 1 player seems to be working fine)
- Pro Evolution Soccer (EUR) (Can't get player 2 to work, 1, 3 and 4 work fine)
- This is Football 2 (EUR), crashes when starting a game
- Destruction Derby Raw (USA), crashes when starting a battle

I did use 4 Wii U Pro controllers in my tests, this seems to work fine.

Is there a way to start wiisxrx 4.0 preview trough wiiflow lite with the classic controller preconfigured? i have to enter the menu with the wiimote by pressing (-)+(+) and reconnect the classic controller to be able to use it.

NOTICE: It doesn't crash when loaded in my PC and New3ds (New2dsxl) via both epsxe (pc) and pcsxrearmed liberetrocore 3ds (new3ds (new2dsxl)) so yeah? :rofl2:

@niuus , add me as a friend. I'm assuming you have your pm's locked to friends only. this is godreborn. I asked to be banned with that account, because I don't want to be involved anymore, but I would still like to keep in touch with you, hopefully on discord. that's where I am now. I can't share my stuff anymore but through third parties, which I tried to do with @KiiWii , just don't know if he received it. I built smw for windows as well as super mario bros 1 from all stars through a .bat file. the other all star games are being worked on for windows and the switch, I believe, but I heard there's a lot of unused material for smb3, so it's slow going with that one, if it can even be done. dunno why Nintendo just left a bunch of unused stuff in the game itself, with it not being accessible.
Hi! Sorry I couldn't add you back then, as i'm currently coming back to these forums after a long deserved break from Emulation Stuff and Development ™.

I want to use Wiisxrx on Wiiflow. It works in Homebrew but not on Wiiflow. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Last time I used this years ago, it was working. Try 4.0 Beta on the first page, just in case.

@niuus

Welcome back, friend. It's been a while since back then. Btw, I really hope your situation gets better in your region (i know where but i won't tell, but it's so horrible what's happening there).

Some great and cool stuff on the Wii scene has happened since then, just telling.

I really like your RX emulators, especially Snes9x RX. But WiiSX RX is also great and being using it a bit along with WiiStation and a few other emus.

That's exactly one of the key reasons I had to step back from emulation and hobbies.

Yeah. seems like it, which is very cool, as this is like taking a DeLorean to the future and seeing all of the new stuff at once, without having to wait. :grog:

I even discovered a new emulator in town for Sega Saturn, which to me is already groundbreaking, making the impossible a reality. I tried a good bunch of games and saw some that, funny enough, already run in a 99% enjoyable state. I could create a well organized thread with a readable and friendly compatibility list for discussion, later.

I have some unreleased changes from the long-past-dead hard drive, lucky they were in the cloud in case of some disaster, along with my devkit folders. I forgot a lot of stuff, but i'll slowly check them to at least release the latest versions for some of the RX emulators.

Seta GX, huh? Yeah, i tested it too when it got released and i got amazed how it is a huge step after the old Yabause Wii. It has a work-in-progress GX video renderer, but it's missing a PPC dynarec. Still, nice to have a Sega Saturn emulator on Wii working somewhat.

Nice.
Btw, i've been also releasing various latest emulator cores which i myself compile using older versions of RetroArch to get very good stability.
(PicoDrive, gpSP, Geolith (slow), VBA-M, NeoCD, etc...)

Sorry if offtopic, but still nice to let u know this, if you're interested.

Just imagine when it gets to that point, with a dynarec core. A good chunk of Saturn games now playable on a simple Nintendo Wii, a forgotten library that is mostly reserved to emulation on PC-like devices.

I'll likely check PicoDrive. I was using the latest nightlies from Retroarch and it worked 100% fine (a lot of time has passed, so I don't know if that changed).

I already solved this a couple of weeks ago, but thanks for the reply anyway.

Hey I appreciate your app
It is currently broken though
So difficult to set up. WiiSX works WiiSXRX does nothing
lotsa "code of broken" screen

I figured out FAT32 works better than exFAT
Then the directories actually worked.

Do i have to reset the game and set the select button?

What is the wiisx select button default? I can't go any further without....
