Also try booting it in NeoCD-Libretro Wii if it's really an emulation issue...

(Not sure if u tried in it, but just trying to help.)
Hi @SaulFabre , and thank you for the link.

I feel a little bit silly asking this, but I downloaded the app, put all the bios files into the "system" directory, set the "folders" setting accordingly, yet I can't see any game (or any file except zip files, for what matters) using your version of retroarch.

I'm trying to boot the bin+cue patched version.

I even tried to zip these files, but was brought back to the Homebrew channel when selecting it? Is there something I'm doing wrong? The other "optimized" versions of RA (like CPS1 for example), can launch zipped roms perfectly? But I guess launching CD images is a littl bit different?

You don't have the required .info file for the NeoCD-Libretro core.
You can find and download it on https://github.com/libretro/libretro-core-info/
Put the .info file inside the folder info, in the same location where is the core .dol file.

Example:
sd:/apps/retroarch/neocd_libretro.dol
sd:/apps/retroarch/info/neocd_libretro.info

Another example:
sd:/apps/NeoCDLibretro/boot.dol
sd:/apps/NeoCDLibretro/info/boot.info

Thank you : the .info file was in my "retroarch" folder instead of the "sd/apps/retroarch" one...

Anyway, I'm taken back to retroarch main menu when I try booting it, and I don't want to digress too much from the topic of this thread, which is the use of NeoCD RX.

Let's keep trying on your dedicated thread, and we'll go back here if we find a solution. :)

And if someone manages to make the "files+MP3" version work in the meantime, that'll only mean more option for us! ;)
