Hacking Misc P5R Save convert ps4/switch question

hi there i saw that the save structure is the same or at least that´s the impression there two files system.dat and data.dat(this one can be dataxx.dat starting in 01 until 99) i tried using my ps4 save but system data says is corrupted and doesn't load data.dat, so if someone with more knowledge wanna try i think is probable that the saves will be compatible with ps4/switch/pc but thats only my theory

I tried using my own PS4 savefile and can confirm they're not 1:1 compatible
Or at least, the SAVE.dat isn't even recognized, if paired with the DATA.dat file it says the file is corrupt.

As someone who knows nothing about any of this: is it still possible they could be made to work even if they’re not immediately 1:1 compatible?

if someone updates one of the few persona 5 save editors to accept switch saves as well as convert. then yea. quite a few save editors for other cross platform games do this already so possible.

just compared system.dat and thats why isn't compatible is totally different idk if teres a option to make it work my ps4 of persona with 57 hours.............................................

Persona modding community has found that Switch/PC save files are identical and work with each other with no conversion. I would assume XBOX/PS5 saves would be cross compatible as well. However it seems like PS4 save files are different because that version is 2 years old. I would predict that a PS4 convert is highly likely.

That's excellent news. I will keep my eye on this forum for updates on a PS4 conversion. Is there another forum I should be checking, wherever the Persona modding community hangs out?

ok thanks a lot i test the save of steam version and works on game pass version and also on switch the problem now is ps4 data.dat on ps4 is 250 kb while on othe platform is 5or 6 kb

I tried to find the PC Game Pass save, but I can't find it, where's it?
Also, if you replace the save on Game Pass, there's any problem with the save cloud?

Could you do this for other savefile languages too?

I would love to transfer my P5R PS4 game save to the switch. It'd give me a reason to play the game for a third time.

Does anyone have a newgame+ (prefer at beginning of game or right after 1st palace) save with full compendium unlocked and that's it??

It seems all I can find are max EVERYTHING saves, I think it would be cool to just have all personas available from start
