These products are on the market for those that don't want to flash - and in the case of the Neo MK4 Mini & the Ultra FlashPass - they actually have value added to them that you certainly don't get with flashing.

Forgot to ask you, does your EZ Lite MicroSD work with your MML (and does your MML have a splash screen)? I guess every nopass device with a splash screen simply doesn't work.
Also, do you think the EZ team will actually fix the incompatibility with a loader update? Still trying to figure out whether to buy a Superkey or not.

Oh jeez, there goes the splash screen confusion. To make it more confusing even, in the EZ forums a guy has a MML that won't boot his EZ card, lol.
I really hope the EZ team fixes this, I don't think I'll ever buy another EZ card if they don't (that and the cheap quality of the EZ4L MicroSD casing).

Do you have another Passme card to use other than the Passcard 3? Or are you stuck using it as a GBA flash card like I am until the EZ team releases an update? (crosses fingers)
Yup, stuck playing gba games for now... Im not to crazy about paying 30+ bucks for a superkey, so im waiting.
Well, at least someone else is in my shoes. Yeah, I really don't feel like paying more either. Unfortunately, there is a chance the EZ team may not ever fix the problem, but I hope not. If they don't fix it in the next loader update, I don't think the chances are very good. :'(

So I'm thinking it's the MML and the new NoPass device with logo thats causing the problem, since EZ4 is using standard homebrew bootup process.
Thanks for the great translation, way better than the Babel fish translation I was getting. I wonder if that implies they aren't going to try to make it compatible...

It's weird how some of these new no-passme devices work and others don't. Everybody has been trying to work out the pattern of the situation.... "new ones don't work and old ones do".. "hang on a minute someone with a new has it working"... "ect ect"

I think the inconsistency comes from the new no-pass devices being hacked/altered version of actual DS games. The same game rom/chip is not used in every single one and this is what is catching EZ out.
The EZ team are trying to blame everyone but themselves and this new claim of "we fixed but the other 'boys' are playing nasty a changed it again", doesn't wash. The inconsistency with this situation has been there right through every kernel revision.. apart from the 15th of June one which broke even the ones that were working.

The advantage of the EEPROM save is that older GBA carts that can't handle NDS saves for whatever reason will be able to save directly to the NoPass - and so will compatible Neo carts of course.
The best NoPass for your cart is really up to you! That's what the chart is for. You can see the features, see which NoPass is compatible with which card, and decide for yourself.
I don't know what is compatible with the G6 Lite until it arrives and I can test.

I just got an EZ4 miniSD and a DS Lite,, I updated EZ4 with the latest firmware and when I tried to boot it using Max Media Launcher I got two white screens after the boot screen and nothing happened, booting with passcard3 didn´t work either, it stays freezed on the boot screen, at least superkey worked fine..
