Valve has announced a new version of the Steam Deck: Steam Deck OLED.
This is not a successor, and brings no (major) updates to the main specs (CPU/GPU chipset, RAM, etc.). Instead, there are small but welcome improvements to the overall quality and experience: larger battery, better cooling, quieter operation, a bunch of tiny improvements to the knobs and buttons, and of course the shiny new OLED screen.

The price will be $/€569 for the 512GB model, and $/€ 679 for the 1TB.
The older models will receive a price drop: the 256GB version is dropping to $/€419.
