Deleting a Personal Mii in Tomodachi Life from a Previous Owner

I bought Tomodachi Life a week or so ago and I am absolutely loving it. However, I cannot delete one of the Miis -- there were already three on the island when I started. It says it is my personal Mii, but I never assigned her as such. What's more, she is not even one of my Miis in Mii Plaza since I imported my cartridge from Japan, so it feels like there is nothing I can do. I do not have a PC, so I cannot use the editor that's floating around online. Any ideas how I can get rid of her? And, no, I don't want to just edit her until she looks like my Mii!

Super late response, but I think that's the first Mii you made and therefore your personal Mii / look-alike. You cannot delete that Mii once it's made.
Even if I set the Mii to something other than "self" I still cannot delete it.
