There was no sound to begin with besides me coughing and sneezing a couple times so I just deleted it. I contemplated the idea of having random music playing in the background, but decided not to.

Ok new bug dont know if anyone else has this issue, just turned my DS on with my M3 and Kaura and started playing Super Robot Taisen OG saga, switched off my DS to play platinum, when i turned it back on my SRT rom was gone, deleted.

Kaura system can be supported with other languages?
I tried to put the Portuguese language but gave an error!

the *.lng file names gives you a hint on which font it uses and it's interchangeable
english menu uses CP1250 (not able to view internal japanese&chinese rom and filenames), chinese menu uses CP936 (able to view internal japanese&chinese rom and filenames)
so, if you want to view japanese/chinese names instead of all ?????? marks, you could replace the files in the CP1250 folder with the ones in the CP936 folder

CP936 fonts on English Menu

Thanks for the tips, dsrules)
amaro had a problem with adding the translation of Kaura text messages

I'll try to help him when I have some time)

PS: amaro, I got your PM, thanks!
I'll try everything either tomorrow or on Monday and write you back with the results

Maybe it will take more time, but I will write back as soon as I get some results =)

is the so called bug reproducible?
-shrugs- i can give it a shot but to tell the truth id rather not. the spring in my m3 is going and id like to keep it intact by minimizing the amount of times i take it out

since, I have a backup of platinum in my hd, suppose I could give it a test

1. run SRT from Kaura, play for awhile, Save game then turn power off
2. turn power on and run platinum from Kaura, play for awhile, Save game then power off
3. power on DS, run SRT again with no problem

no firmware is gonna delete your rom unless some file(s) on your microsd got corrupted and the file becomes invisible from the game selection screen

i believe i have found a way to at least use the latest touchpod with m3 kaura...as far as sakura...well i dont know, it has the exact same files as 1.45, well because i deleted 1.44 and copied them in there, it is the exact same as the latest release in nearly all of the files except the ones used to boot kaura...kaura boots, touchpod boots, sakura boots, but still says its 1.44 version, but all of the changes that i have tested that apply to 1.45 5th edition seem to work...so i really dont know what to make of it, but if any one is interested on how i did it...say so and i will post how i did it as soon as possible, but by far...it is no huge jump at all...but it is nice to still have the latest features on that buggy thing we call kaura so yeah...there it is, all though im pretty sure anybody could have figured it out if i did it...haha.

So you're replacing the old touchpod files with new ones.

It probably works, but alot of the times it doesn't always work. Take replacing older older Sakura dual boots with a newer touchpod for example, even though they're both in dual boot Sakura doesn't get the new game engine.

True enough, but i was playing SRT and then the rom just dissapeared -shrugs- maybe it got corrupted
it happens, like I have 20+ games in my NDS folder, but Kaura was only able to see 3 of the 20+ games in there
I have to delete some .gmc .cht and .opt files before all 20+ games shows up in Kaura

Kaura is a great system, its only deleted one .sav and i replaced it and it hasnt happened since, ive got SoD set on the bottom one and SRT is currently on top (after i re-copied the file to my SD card) and i havent had an issue since (except for the text that overuns the boxes) But i cant wait for a full release with skins and all ^^

highlight a game and push Y, could you test the modified Kaura I just posted and see if it works?

Looks promising, I'm downloading it now.

Also I just noticed the default skin has a .skn file in it. I have no idea if this is mandatory or if it's setup the same was as sakura skins. For all I know you could just copy the original and rename it to something else with the new skin images.

EDIT: Ok I added your edited firmware to the front post and added a question about the real time save backup button (top right button).

I just wish Kaura had the manual save backup function that the itouch firmware has.

OH and dsrules, you do realize that by taking out touchpod you're also taking out Real Time Guide, right?

not really..all the Real Time files are included, so Real Time Guide works fine
