those 2 files are for loading Sakura 1.4x, it has nothing to do with Kaura

is anyone able to use cheats in Kaura? none of them works for me
Are you sure? I downloaded the latest Sakura from the Sakura FAQ and those two files weren't in the SYSTEM folder.

Even if it did have something to do with the corruption bug, reverse engineering/ASM editing it would probably take longer than just waiting for the next update.

or you could try this:

"M3SAKURA the system starts, immediately press and hold L + R + A + B 4 keys, you can initialize all the settings so that cherry. This situation is suitable to solve some reason M3SAKURA system can not boot normally (such as the disk check errors and other problems led the system can not be started M3SAKURA case)."

In other words, when Sakura starts loading, immedaitely hold L+R+A+B, and it'll skip Diskcheck and reset all settings to defaultIs this easy to do with the new beta core? Because I tried it with the regular M3 Sakura (v1.45) and I can only get it to work 1 out of 10 times. The timing is really tricky.

I've tried it 5 times, and it works 5 out of 5. I say it works pretty well now. Just hold LRAB when you see Sakura 1.4x appears on the screen (when the M3Sakura Animation is loading)

those 2 files are the same as the g6dsload.eng g6dsload.gb (the main boot system file for the dual boot version, Sakura + Touchpod), in Kaura those 2 files has been changed to sakura.eng and sakura.gb

After testing about 40 games I can confirm the .sav to .SAV trick works perfect on all of them

I've made some M3Kaura 0.9 Beta 1 corrections

Now if you choose Russian language it works almost fine.

CP1251 font from MoonShell 1.71 (by Moonlight) is used to display Russian font.
(The font was simply absent in the official release)

The translation into Russian was a bit corrected.
It still has a small bug in the translation: there is no text shown on the button that leads to System autostart section of Kaura settings.

The archive contains of the original system, that is, all the settings are default (the Chinese language is chosen).
I have also corrected the Arrow-symbols in all language files.
Now this is shown instead of some glitchy symbols:
[Sel + < / > ]
Press v to open..
Press ^ to open..

M3Kaura 0.9 Beta 1 Corrected - Filetrip Link
M3Kaura 0.9 Beta 1 Corrected - Multi-Up mirror (sendfile, depositfiles, getthebit, openfile, rapidshare, fileshare [UA-IX])

M3Kaura 0.9 Beta 1 Rus - Narod/Yandex link (the previous version, only Russian language is corrected)

Enjoy

I... just... must....

JUST, let me get this...

You are now aware that "Kaura" means "wheat" in Finnish

Anybody got screens besides the first one on the Media tab?

I'm going to post a video up soon.
Somebody said they were going to post up screens/videos like 10 days back; and still nothing...

That was me, and at the time I had like 3 projects to work on. Don't worry, just be patient and it'll be up.

So what precisely has been "corrected" for an English-speaking user? Is it merely arrow symbols (aesthetic adjustment), or other things that make it worth my time to replace the current beta I have with yours?

Note: OP has been in thread and not seen fit to add/replace it to 1st post, some I'm curious. Thanks.

I meant to get around to adding it, just been a little busy lately. But I'd like to know if he somehow fixed the bug that "corrupts" kaura when you select the Russian language, because if not then his edit wouldn't really help much :\

Yes, DeltaBurnt, I've fixed the bug that "corrupts" kaura when you select the Russian language by adding the CP1251 font files to .\SYSTEM\font\ folder

By the way, It was really easy to find out if the bug's fixed simply by trying the version I uploaded

Dark^'^Knight, Not only for an English-speaking, but for any user (I mean, I changed freaky symbols to arrows not only in english translation-file).
But still, It is merely "Arrow Symbols", nothing more

Kaura system can be supported with other languages?
I tried to put the Portuguese language but gave an error!
The point is: the size of .lng file must be unchanged!
If the original text message (in English, for example) was longer than text message in Portuguese, you should add "empty symbols" (spaces) so that text length is formally the same.
Also, if you've got less space, than it's needed - you should use abbreviations or acronyms.
Do you know which Windows Encoding is used to display all the symbols (letters) correctly? CP1252?
If you wish - you could upload & send me (PM) the link to UTF-8 format file which looks like: The original text (English) - The translated text (Portuguese) & I could help you
happy.gif

If you wouldn't mind, please, add acronyms & abbreviations in the parentheses near the words.
I must be sure, that I'm using existing acronyms, that will be understandable by Portuguese-speaking people

P.S.: I've got the text file with all messages in English from GBalpha Workgroup, you can download it here

i would start the new m3 kauro beta firmware on my m3 real
but when it starts, nothing happens

just a black screen ...

Well, I had edited the file ES1252.lng, because it is easier for me to translate. Maybe that's why it gave error. The file can not change? Then you can solve the problem? I would be very grateful!
The modified file is on the link below. Thank you very much.
