Yes it can. The emulator knows what to emulate based on the header of the game, so it's not going to try to run it as a DMG game.Crystal can't run in a DMG VC dude
Well that's odd then. I thought I had tested Crystal before in my copy of Blue, but you're right. The code is different.

I'd rather just fix it for good, but I know that's going to require NTR debugger, ASM hacking, and motivation. I think it can't be too hard to find out the palettes location in RAM
If I'm motivated, I might. I did a lot of work on GBC asm, and partially disassembled the poke-radar in D/P/Pt
If you mean the disassemblys of Gold, Silver, Crystal, I already have them. I'm talking about the code.bin (VC Emulator) where it overwrites some bytes that it causing these issues.

I am proud to announce that we have successfully been able to enable full color in this special VC emulator. No more flashy colors or blanked out ones! Only the true, full color experience.
(for those of you who don't know, that title screen used to have a big white block in the center of it)

Just an announcement right now. Release will probably be tomorrow, since we still need to do thorough testing to assure that there are no other issues.
