Hey, thanks for the hard work! ^_^ Gotta love wireless functionality for Gen2 games!
Quick question: what about Italian releases (Oro, Argento, Cristallo)? Are they planned as well?
I'd like to know if I should just wait for them or start on the english one!

Is there a chance you will patch Gold and Silver onto Red and Blue? I played them originally on my old fat gameboy so would love to have that border again for the nostalgia.

There is no need to do that, its already made. GS for Red, Blue, Yellow inject, C for Yellow only.

The CIAs I downloaded from your thread on that site have GS with the GBC border.

Yo, I'm really excited to play this, but Hans won't launch Pokémon Blue (which I dumped from the eShop), even without the romfs. I'm on 11.0.0-33E and using menuhax. It hangs on this screen:

Braindump said that the output file was incomplete but it still produced a .cxi file.

Is there a way I can change the Title ID of the English Pokémon Silver (colour) CIA that I may or may not have obtained from somewhere? I can't seem to decrypt it and I'm not sure I know how to build one myself...

It actually doesn't matter which game you inject your ROM into. The emulator is the same between all of the games.

Alright, here's what the problem is.
So, the emulator basically picks a border and what to emulate based on 0x143 in the ROM's header. In the Gold and Silver patches, @Traiver basically changes the value of 0x143 to 00 so that the game is forced to run in DMG mode. However... the problem is that the emulator read the ROM BEFORE the patches were applied, saw it was a GBC compatible game, and slapped the GBC border on it.

Long story short, you need to decompile the RomFS again, go into the ROM, and edit the value at 0x143 with a hex editor to be 00. That should force it to be a DMG game from the get-go, and allow you to use the correct border.

There are A LOT of people having this problem, and I really don't know why to be honest. I can try to ask around to people who DO know and see what's up, but that's the most I can do. Sorry. :(
