NoI'm reading up on wiiu.hacks.guide for more information on hacking, and I would like to use a USB drive instead of a sd card, could I do everything the same as you would with a sd card?
Legitimate answer is no. Homebrew used to install haxchi wasn't designed to use USB devices. SD card formatted to Fat32 is required to install haxchi with the proper homebrewSarcasm or legitimate answer?
I understand, well I have an extra one that I didn't wanna use but I'll have to. Thank you for explainingLegitimate answer is no. Homebrew used to install haxchi wasn't designed to use USB devices. SD card formatted to Fat32 is required to install haxchi with the proper homebrew
I didn't want to mess with CBHC, it seemed unnecessary and I didn't wanna risk a brick or anything just because I'm inpatient. Thank you thoughAnd if you try to install or move CBHC to a HDD you'll brick so don't even think about it.
Nope, the Wii U will think it's a flash drive. What about a USB - to SD Card reader w an SD card in it?
My regular SD card reader died. and will not read any SD Cards. It is damaged to hell, sadly.
So would trying to read an SD card via USB port-connected SD Card Reader plausible?
