Hi-res pictures can be found here :

Nothing seems to be attached to these pads. No connections to other layers either :

Thanks I appreciate you taking a look at it & giving me some info! Thats what I was thinking too though, having seen it on Balika011's OLED layer viewer, but I wasn't sure if it might be related to my issue, so figured I'd just see if someone might know better than what I was seeing.

I'm assuming at this point it must be some sort of corrosion underneath the NAND because I've pretty much checked everything else on the board. I think I'll try sonic cleaning the board, but if that doesn't work I'll try removing the NAND, if the pads look okay I'll just reball it drop a dat0 pad on it, try it, & if that doesn't work I'll just modchip it & go from though.

Anyways thanks again!

So I got a batch of tinyflys made and so far on the first handful of installs I have done I am experiencing something a little weird. When I press the power button the switch doesn't boot. I keep needing to hold down the power button for 13 seconds to force shut it off. After doing that the switch boots and glitches properly. Happening on the first couple consoles with this chip now. Its like when I get the No SD screen and then press the power button again to turn it off, it's not fully turning off or something.

Basically consoles are only booting and glitching after force shutting them down.

Seems to randomly happen. For example, if Ieave it off for a while and then go to turn it on.

Not sure if anyone has heard of this or if it's like a luck of the draw kind of thing or what.
if you fabricated the tinyfly you can remove the capacitor that is located above the crystal, that should fix the unstable boot due to potential bad rp2040 chip.

Was trying to install in my Lite today, but it boots as if there was no chip at all, just regular booting.

I think the error code means no RST connected, but I pulled the flex off and double checked its not shorting on something else, so is there something else I can look at?

in this forum, yes. In the picofly thread, no. If you have picofly problems you can post in this thread. For other problems, find a suitable thread or make your own.
Okay I'll keep that in mind the next time I have a question relating to switch repairs then.

Decided to scrap the ribbon and just hand solder ABCD, works great now. Thanks for this amazing project

nope.... i disconnected all of the cables and the console turned on. So i went ahead and redid the mod and it gave the same rst issue again. i removed the cables a second time and now it wont boot up again. the rst is saying .420 so i honestly dont know what it could be

it has to be some resistor thats messing with rst. but i honestly dont know what. Nothing i see is shorted and i most likely think it isnt ewp since the console had the issues and after i removed the cables it started to work again. Anyone knows what could be the issue thats causing it to blink rst?

see are you cut dat0 line and also if there soldering near dat0 point in pic try make it way from point or cover it mask after remove it. the rst diod mode black multimeter pin yes 0.410v or 0.420v you say the console work so there are some thing missing or cut or burn resistor try make super clean pic use microscope 2k pic or some tool zoom send it to me are you use back mosfet????

Alright. I was able to fix the issue. It was that i messed up dat 0 and it was cut. But i recoved it with jumpig the wire.

I've encountered a new issue with my console. It launches and works, but there's something odd happening. Every time I start it up on OFW, the Nintendo logo appears twice. After the second logo, it proceeds to the Switch icon screen before finally taking me to the main menu.

The real problem comes when I try to load Atmosphere. Here's what happens:

  1. The Atmosphere logo (that little triangle icon) appears and then dissapears.
  2. But then the Nintendo logo shows up (which shouldnt since im on atmosphere).
  3. The Switch logo follows.
  4. Despite selecting Atmosphere, I somehow end up back in OFW.
