Anyone knows how to fix that problem with failed to get the cia file info! ?
Im on n3ds xl fw9.4 and tryied using diffrent entry points menuhax browserhax downloaded the files again nothing is helping.

Not sure that there really is a fix for it. I had the same problem, and was on 10.1. After trying a lot and verifying the md5 which was correct. I updated to 10.3 formatted 3ds and sd card. Redid my entry points and still kept getting the error. I just kept trying and before bed lastnight I got it to downgrade after probably 50 to 100 attempts. So I guess you just gotta keep trying. Wish I could say for sure if something I did was what made it downgrade but I think it was really just a matter of trying and getting lucky.

Most of my games + saves are stocked on my SD card due to Eshop, IF I am able to downgrade, will I need to format the SD card and the console for emunand? or is there a way to save all my saves

I have sucessfully Downgraded my Japanese New Nintendo 3DS LL from 10.3.0-28J to 9.1.0-20J.

But any CFW isnt working even the GW.3dsx is not working.

Okay, so.. Brand new system. Taken right out of the box to downgrade.

Using the newer sysUpdater that installs native_firm last, I got it on the second run.

First time, it errored out, but was only a soft brick. Recovered and ran again.

I was able to downgrade my new 3DS Xl (blue)
from 10.3 E to 9.2 E using "the zip" with 102 files.

I verified md5 and copied with teracopy with verification.

The sysupdater from julian20 with libkhax worked first try, the other one with libSU stopped at #5 every time I tried (4 times only lol), and it even rebooted after 10 seconds AND booted to homemenu (menuhax was still installed before, so I thought this shouldn't be happening?)

So I am on 9.2E now, but there is one question: Can I format my console (eg the "sysnand") to get rid of "leftovers" ? Or is there a better way to clean everything?
I want to start fresh again, save files do not matter because I have most games in cards

Damn. Well, you can try a copying program like TeraCopy to verify that your files didn't get changed/corrupt in transit from your computer to the SD card. Maybe that'll fix it.

Nah, I still get that error. I checked the SHA-1 to make sure. Now this time, sysupdater text is kinda glitchy.

What is KTM again? And does it require different files than MemChunkHax2?

it was reported that ktm MAY be out on wednesday, but JustPingo did say that it would NOT increase our chances by a great amount. So Unless there are significant changes to MemChunkHax2.i dont know....Im sure if you search the threads youll find it yourselfs

EDIT: Recovery worked, here we go again

I tried downgrading from 10.3.0-28U to 9.2

After installing all the cias, the "Rebooting in 10 seconds..." message appeared, but it didn't reboot after 2 minutes or so, so I shut it down, turned it back on, and get the "An error has occurred" screen. I can't even boot into recovery mode...
So does this mean I dun goof?

Ok i Updated to 10.3.0-28J again and then Downgraded it to 9.1.0-20J again and now all CFW`s are working like a charm!

Did anyone notice after downgrade that the main menu become a bit slower? The main icons are white blocks first and then load up.

Doesn't take that long and after that it seems to run ok so its no big problem but I am just curious if anyone else noticed. On earlier higher firmware I don't remember noticing that.

Downgraded successfully a 2nd time in a row, yielding better results then the first, N3DS XL from 10.3U to 9.2U using..one of the sysupdaters.

Installed A CFW/FBI, and successfully installed Bravely Default as my first CIA. Ran fine.

Just used the guide Tescowiec just posted, downgraded my EU N3DS XL from 10.3 to 9.2 with no issues other than having to reload sysupdater loads and loads. Once it had loaded and gotten to the main screen, downgraded with no issues.
